Well it only took THREE years but I finally had my E1 re-fretted. It now has Jescar 55090-S frets (basically stainless steel 6105s) and the difference between them and the OEM nickel-silver frets is tremendous. . Has anyone had their E1 refretted yet? Mine has significant fret wear and I'm strongly considering a refret with SS frets.

Anyone know if stainless steel frets will impact an E1 negatively? It should work, right?
