Re: Adding Sequencer to my Voyager
I have the Dark Time - love it. Easy to use and very flexible. Ordered angled wood sides so it sits up at a more ergonomic angle. Very "playable" in that it's easy to quickly hit the on/off/skip switches to switch up the pattern. The forward/backward/random is fun. I use my Electribe to co...

Re: Pitch bend too "wide" by one tone
I'm all set! Just need a small adjustment to the crooked trimmer next to the RP5 trimmer. Took all of five minutes. Thanks to Nick at Moog!

Pitch bend too "wide" by one tone
Hello - I got my voyager serviced by moog a few months ago and didn't notice this until now, (because I haven't had a moment to touch it!) but I just noticed that, if I set the pitch bend amount to 1 octave and then bend, it actually goes beyond the octave by one tone. When they did the service they...

Re: MF-104MSD?
Out of curiosity, where did you get your 104M-SD from? Ordered it when it was announced and I'm still waiting. I'm beginning to consider canceling my order and hitting some other place. Thanks -

Re: Nothing but Voyager in the box.
Though some sellers (like Sweetwater) do open and update the software. Not sure if Guitar Center does the same thing.

Re: Voyager comes home tomorrow!
I'm not seeing it on any of the Mod or Upgrade pages. I'll drop them a line and ask about it. Thanks!

Re: Voyager comes home tomorrow!
Out of curiosity, what is the price of the slew rate mod? My voyager just arrived in Asheville yesterday for an OSC2 switch problem and I'm getting the LFO Pitch and Mod Wheel mod while it's there. I'm trying to figure out if I should plop that one top of this ice cream sundae. Also, how long was th...

Re: Oscillator on/off switch
Got a reply from Moog. I'm going to be getting an RMA and sending it back. Flirting with getting the flashing pitch and mod wheel mod - since it's there, why not!

Re: I'm an idiot! (outer package for Voyager)
I'm actually a bigger idiot than I thought in that I wasn't an idiot in the first place! Since I was stashing it away in the garage, I kept the outer box around so as not to announce to anyone walking by that I have some (steal-able) super happiness in the house.

I'm an idiot! (outer package for Voyager)
I foolishly threw away the outer package for my Voyager thinking that I'd be fine with just the inner packaging. I just realized that for warranty returns you need to have the inner AND outer packaging. Any idea where to get the outer packaging? I'm guessing I'm going to have to find a shipping plac...

Re: Oscillator on/off switch
I most likely will. I've sent a message to Moog asking about it. I have installed the VX-351 CV Expander Output Adapter which I did on day two of owning it. (could have been day one, I can be an excitable type with things like this) Actually, I may disconnect the 25-pin D connector to the Voyager an...

Re: Oscillator on/off switch
I'd love to find out what you find out. I have the exact same thing happening on my Voyager Select Series. I've had it for a year and logged maybe 10 hours on the thing...

Sudden volume pops with the 104M
Has anyone else experienced an issue where the volume of the input signal to the MF-104M has a momentary pop in volume? It's intermittent and not easily repeatable. I've tried swapping out cables, turning off some lights that are using the same outlet (that one's just flat out voodoo since one's a g...

Re: Any way to move knobs to preset value without changing s
oh, I know how to put one together (makes me think there should be a children's book called "Mr. Line wants to know how to be Mr. Square" - page two, THREE MORE LINES, DUMMY!), but making it less of an analog synth version of Twister (or in one sane, well laid out box) would be nice.

Re: Any way to move knobs to preset value without changing s
All bulk of the pots are single turn pots and then the octave knobs are another beast all together. The bulk of the pots would need to be replaced or, even crazier, have them be motorized so that they snap to the preset. (Could you imagine the failure rate for those?). Sounds like something to put o...
