Topic: Do you think it's possible to mod the MF-101? Has anyone?

See...I have a Mutron III and the down filter and the high pass filter settings are essential to my sound. The MF-101 is also essential to my sound so I wish the MF-101 could just take care of it all so I don't have to have 2 huge envelope filters on my board.

Bitch...moan.

I think the way the rack mount thingy works is by screwing the mooger to the back of the rackmount thingy...using the screws from the feet of the moogers...I think.

Also the description says "up to 3 moogers". So this leads me to believe that yes you can firmly attach 2 moogers.

I'd say there's a good chance...I've heard that you can use it with the Boss PH-3 phaser exp. pedal input.

Do you think it's possible to mod the MF-101? Has anyone?

Another thread has me thinking.

I love the pedal but feel a few mods would really make it kick ass. 2 things I think are missing are the ability to be a high pass filter. and also that there is no down motion envelope feature.

Has anyone here tried this? or know of anyone who could do this?

There's no right way...it's what you prefer. I have my MF-101 after my overdrive and wah pedal although I rarely use the wah and filter at the same time.

I think the more common way would be to put the filter before the overdrive.

My favourite settings for some picking phaser funk. Amount - 12oclock to max rate (low) - 12 oclock to 3 oclock Sweep - min to 12 oclock 6 stage Resonace - min to 12 oclock Usually my phaser is set within these settings for a really 70's funk vibe. I haven't found a use from the 12 stage setting. I ...

Alright it's time to share your favorite cool mooger patches

Maybe this is an obivious one but I just stumbled upon it yesterday and was pretty excited. If you take the envelope out on the MF-101 and plug it into to the one of the inputs on the Mixer section of the CP-251 and then go from the -(negative) output from the mixer section and plug it into the Freq...

I think moog music needs to release some sort of midi to CV converter that works with all the moogers.

try plugging in the headphone jack of your discman(while playing a cd) into the carrier in jack. Fun fun fun, especially if the cd player is playing something with lots of rhythm.

I agree with the above generally. I'm a guitar player and at first appreciated the stompbox format but now that I want to start using the CP-251 with them it's a pain to have the jacks on the back. I now plan on building a patchbay about the same size as the CP-251 so it can be rack mounted right ne...

Try sending the CV through the Lag section as well. Turn the Rise knob up slightly and you should get rid of the clicking(if this is the problem I think it is) The cutoff frequency is changing so fast that there is an audible click whenever it changes. The Lag feature will slow the change or round i...
