Re: How long does your Phatty Stage II take to warm up?

I always let my Little Phatty (Stage II) warm up for at least 15 to 20 minutes before touching it.

Also, the Little Phatty's tuning is susceptible to temperature change.

Re: nth Little Phatty problem...

The poly-mode was the problem (shame on me  ) Now, I've got another question: my current OS is a beta-version (3.1 653/33) found on this forum while they were developing OS3, but it seems to have some bugs in it - LFO Sync doesn't work with my computer, e.g. I noticed that OS 3.12 works prope...

Re: ISSUE WITH POT MAPPING

Cool! :) To be honest I though I was missing something. So I'm kind of glad to know this will be worked on as a bug. Thanks for your initiative, you're making a better word Moogmate!! Thanks stiiiiiive. Yea, I'm happy to hear that they're going to revisit this as well! It will be very nice to be ab...

Re: ISSUE WITH POT MAPPING

So I went ahead and emailed my Moog dealer (Rich @ Lunchbox Audio,) and he spoke with Moog about this issue. Here's what I've found out (for anyone interested)....see email below: So, it sounds like you found a bug Zach that Moog needs to work on...take a look below---> "Hey Rich – Check out wh...

Re: ISSUE WITH POT MAPPING

I think I got this when trying to enable the arpeggiator -sonce my LP had its push encoder broken. I felt like it's because of the 14 bits because if you turn the knob very slowly, you can observe the values are actually passing very quick. Don't know how to correct that though. This is EXACTLY the...

ISSUE WITH POT MAPPING

Hey Guys, I'm having an issue with Pot Mapping in my Little Phatty. When using Pot Mapping INTERNALLY to control the Little Phatty's Midi CC#'s, everything works fine EXCEPT WHEN TRYING TO CONTROL/CHANGE ADVANCED MENU SETTINGS WITH IT. For instance, if I use Pot Mapping for "Resonance" (or...

Re: Ring Modulation Nation

I don't want to put the Moog Ring Modulator in competition, nor start a analogue vs. digital debate, but I must say the EHX Ring Thing has a very cool feature: holding the secondary footswitch for one second allows to tune the internal modulator carrier on the incoming signal pitch. As said the ori...

Everything from subtle ring modulation to heavy metal distortion.
Yes sir. As Nigel Tufnel would say, "these go to 11."

Re: I know this is a Moog forum but...

I just put in an order for a DSI Prophet '08. I'm actually grateful that Dave Smith is filling in the affordable analog poly void right now. Moog is what got me turned on to synthesizers, but I'm craving a polysynth badly. I waited until NAMM to see if Moog would unveil a poly, but they didn't (whic...

Re: I know this is a Moog forum but...

Electro-Harmonix also uses Analog Devices DSP in some of their effects. Like the Cathedral Reverb with its amazing infinite reverb feature, using the faster and somewhat more powerful Blackfin processor... And all EHX products are still made in New York, USA almost exclusively. BTW, Bob Moog and Mi...
