How about adding the MF-107 FreqBox to your setup?
I'm considering this to expand on the FM sounds on my Slim Phatty, but together with a Sub P it should also be capable of adding some nice FM to that synth.

Well would this be possible with an update or not?

How about an additional setting in the lfo section which lets you round off the edges of the S/H waveform?

The only way to double the modulation is when you set the lfo to ENV to modulate the filter on top of the EG-dial amount.

Just tested this with the lfo on the filter and indeed, it doesn't reach far at all. With the cutoff all the way down and max mod depth, it doesn't even go much beyond 50 % of its range. And setting mod dest2 to the filter doesn't double it up, it does nothing. That is actually pretty weird and beyo...

Have you tried the Logic Pro Transformer Object?
I'm not running Logic but Cubase, but I believe the Transformer object is similar to Cubase's Midi Transformer.
Going by this method you could probably do this in realtime, instead of automating it afterwards.

Just noticed it's also apparent when playing notes with the arp off.
Anyone got an idea what this could be?

I think you mean VCO sync as in phase re-trigger, so that the VCO starts from the same phase at each note trigger.
