I have a (possibly dumb) question. How well would the Mother-32 work with a Voyager Old School? Could I use it to sequence the Voyager?
Thanks

need a little help with sample and hold
Hello All, I am trying to create a staircase sample and hold pattern with my Voyager os. I have a vx-351 and I have tried every mod path and patch that I can think of. I know that plugging another source to the "sample and hold in" jack on the back panel disconnect noise as the source, but...

Re: Should I get a moog?
Here's my take on it...Moog's pedigree is known to everyone. The college I went to had an old modular Moog, which I admittedly hated at the time because it NEVER worked properly, but there was no denying the sound of that thing when it was "on". I always wanted one after that, though a mod...

Re: EHX pedal based analog sequencer
I'm really looking for a low(ish) cost single unit that will run note sequences while I'm turning knobs, etc. "On the Run" type stuff. I have a simple setup (voyager os, 351, mxr delay) and will hopefully add a ring mod soon.

Re: Suitable cables for patching VX351 to Voyager?
They need to be TS cables (unbalanced mono), TRS are balanced stereo. These are what I use and they do just fine:

Re: EHX pedal based analog sequencer
Probably a very dumb question, but...would something like this allow me to run a note sequence on my Voyager Old School? I've been looking for a sequencer for a while that isn't too expensive but don't know much about them. Thanks

Re: Suitable cables for patching VX351 to Voyager?
No, you want to use unbalanced mono 1/4" cables for patching. You can buy sets of them pretty cheap online. I keep multi-colored ones so I remember what I've patched where!

Re: another newbie with a dumb question
I was "playing" it and the sound seemed to fade away slowly into clicks. It turned out it had gone subsonic due to a problem with the pitch control section which they took care of and sent right back. I asked as well about the tuning, it seemed osc 2 was just slightly off from 1 and 3. The...

another newbie with a dumb question
Hello all, I got a new voyager old school a while back and have immensely enjoyed exploring with it. Here's my question: Is there any kind of time limit to how long I should have it on? I would like to try setting it to a nice droning sound and possibly leave it going through the night but don't wan...
