Re: Post your latest purchase!!

My wife gave to me for Xmas/b-day a spanking new Moog Sub 37.
That's why I love her so much - especially having been together for 45 years!

T1

In 1975 I purchased a set of T1 bass pedals. I've had them ever since, although they have been somewhat modified since 1975. The key switches back then were these wire type things, kind of like a 'J wire'. They were manufactured by the Thomas Organ company. After years and years, they became extreme...

Re: Memorymoog modulation offset issue

Hello zaiusz synthguy1 here. You seem to know a bit about the MM. I know a bit myself having purchased mine in 1983. This particular keyboard has quite a history be it performing, recording, or just playing. I'd have to say, it's greatest history lies within repairing. I see that your location is 'T...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Hello all... Back in 1986 I wrote and recorded a soundtrack for a video. In one section of the video, the guy wanted "despair". So, using only my Memorymoog+ (I added the "+" mod earlier that same year) and a drum box (Roland 808) I came up with this simple piece. I must have ful...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Being old, or older , as the case may be, then probably the average Mooger on this forum, my computer skills are perhaps not up there where it just seems natural (like my daughter who grew up with computers). Of course, age probably has little to do with it... Anyway, I thought I'd try to get a song...

Re: Strange Memorymoog Serial Number

I have 2 as well...both have a 4 digit serial #. Even the LAMM from Rudi has the original serial #. Maybe yours is a prototype?
I remember going to the Moog factory in Buffalo back in 1983; They had a 4 tier A-frame stand stocked with 4 MM's in a demo room; maybe it's one of those?
Cheers

"Blow it all! Have a ball!" I aways say. "You only live once!" and "you could be dead tomorrow" I also always say! As far as my kid's inheritance goes, she can sell all my stuff and probably be better off than if I left cash! I paid 10K for my LAMM alone; worth every ni...

Re: "Automation" problem LP

I'd help you if I could...It sounds as though your DAW outputs the midi parameters that change the LP when it sees the Play command. I'd venture to guess that the problem resides in your DAW; the LP shouldn't change unless it is told to change...
Just a guess.
Hope this helps...

The sequencers and arpeggiators are very cool! On the Prophet, you get 2 sequencers and 2 arpeggiators when properly configured. Loads of fun...

Re: New analog polly by DSI

I have a pair of Prophet 08PE's and I have to say if someone removed them from my rig, it would be a very sad day indeed. I love my Prophets; the way they sound, the way they perform. I love the actual keyboard; it's feel, the aftertouch and velocity. Awesome for wailing synth leads. I will often us...

Re: Yamaha CS-70m Mini Moog Model D

Thanks, Kevin. That's what I figured. I was hoping there might be some kind of conversion mod or device out there; Oh, well... On another note, I purchased a red switch contact board for my T1's. I believe I got it from Married with Patchcords. This is an excellent T1 upgrade! If you have anymore, I...
