Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Honestly, I think it's more money/time than talent. I could be wrong, but I think the Minitaur has been low-priority shortly after it's release, and since then it has only gotten worse. That's the only way I can explain the whole REV2 debacle. Grand/Awesome ideas, not enough profit/sales and therefo...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Damn…. I got all excited about being able to save presets and dropped off for awhile. It is frankly sad that there is still not a fully functional editor two years after the "editor" hit the shelves and as far as I can see, no response from Amos in over a month. With that said, how exactly...

Re: Minitaur Editor update and Presets discussion JAN2014

Hey Guys, Good call on the Firmware/specs. etc.... at the top of the post Editor: 3.0 Beta Minitaur Firmware 2.0.28 Mac OS X 10.8.5 You guys need to pm Amos and ask for the new beta editor. It is seriously amazing! Not only is it a standalone/plugin hybrid, but it saves presets (names and all) 100% ...

I'm glad I could help you understand the benefits of modern technology Stucko. Hopefully you will discover more uses for that magical box known as a computer to us none-gray hairs who embrace change. :P

Re: Amos, will you give us a Minitaur Editor update, please?

Alright, this needs to be cleared up for all the people who claim the editor is just an add on and stop whining BS. It's great that you decided to buy this synth when it first came out without these options, we applaud your Moog love. clap, clap, clap, BUT!!!!!! The Minitaur was clearly re-branded w...

Slim Phatty save preset with ARP on?

I have owned this amazing little synth for almost 3 years now and I just realized that I had no idea how to do this (or if it is possible)? I have my slim sequenced with Ableton and on occasion, I want the ARP on some of my patches. I have realized a workaround by sending the MIDI CC data that trigg...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Misterpete, are you flipping serious???? A fully functioning editor??? Have you not read the 20+ pages of non working fuctions...the whole point of this entire thread??? I am also waiting for a functioning editor. The ability to actually save a preset with the Hardware (very recent development) is m...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Ha, figured it out. It turns out that implementing the "hold glide, push release" method still activates the Glide button. So, you have to turn glide on, then employ the finger-dance, which will actually turn the glide off before saving the preset. Fairly confusing, but I assume this is th...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Looks like I spoke too soon. Can someone explain how to save edits to a "preset?" Saving presets to a new location works fine, but what if I want to edit a certain sound, say in slot 2, and keep it in slot 2. If you follow the instructions, it appears to work, until I use my DAW (Ableton 9...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Holy Crap!!! I can finally use this flipping thing. Presets do seem to save properly from the hardware, software is still a Joke though. Hopefully the new software will not blow donkeys and hopefully Moog has learned to farm out there software in the future. Waiting this long for a functioning edito...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Simple Question. Does this thing save presets properly yet????? It's going on two years that this thing has been out and the last time I "updated" to another . something.something, it still couldn't do the most basic thing any synth should be able to do…..properly save an Idea. Before I un...

Re: The definitive SLIM PHATTY + patchbay thread

Hey guys, Is there somewhere I can buy the dummy plugs you guys are talking about, preferably already soldered to the correct setup for pitch and gate? I am way to overwhelmed with other things to spend the time learning how to solder and such, but I have a cp 251 that is just collecting dust becaus...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Amos, As you can tell if you read the latest comments, patience is gone. We have been patient and obviously that is not working. I have owned this Creativity-Crusher for over a year and still can't use it. This is seriously shitty on you and Moog's part. Personally, I wish I had bought the Dave Smit...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I have owned this Minitaur for almost 10 months and I still have to unplug it, on a good day, at least once every couple of ours because it just stops making sound. It still indicates it is receiving midi (blinking light) but doesn't make a sound. Seriously, can you please fix this??? It's the main ...
