PLEASE CALL ME TO LEAVE A £100 DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR ORDER. £100 for a deposit on a £900 item? They must be joking, that's almost 10%! I'd rather make the interest in MY bank, not theirs! :) I don't envy anyone physically bringing a Voyager keyboard over in their luggage. Did you manage to fit it ...

I'm in the UK. The cost of shipping an individual unit would defeat the purpose, but I don't understand why we pay over the odds when distributors can order dozens at a time. Maybe that's a naive statement but I've yet to hear a plausible explanation. Don't forget that in terms of scarcity, the non...

Greg, where is the best place to learn more about pot mapping? I looked on Squarewave but was unable find anything for pot mapping that you have for say Modulation Busses.

Thanks,

If you're after great tape echo machines, don't forget the Korg Stage Echo. There were two models, the SE-300 (with a spring reverb tank) and the SE-500, which had Sound On Sound and a really cool feature, the ability to modulate the tape speed using a control voltage! Change your delay time with yo...

Many thanks Richard No, just Rudi :D Many apologies Rudi! :) I now seem to have a new problem; how do I get the 'Fast Selection' knob to work (to the right of the display)? I think it was working before. I couldn't see how to turn it on in the brief notes in the install package. 3.1 is definitely i...

how can I do a 'clean' reinstall of the OS?
Go to MASTER menu page 4.4 (Copyright Info), press ENTER, then button +1, the display reads Factory Sounds, press ENTER, then select YES with the CURSOR and after that press ENTER.
Good luck!
It worked! Many thanks Richard (I'm assuming)

3.1 Upgrade problem - no sounds

Hello, I tried to upgrade from 2.5 to 3.1 this afternoon, but things did not go smoothly, and I have ended up with what I think may be a partial 3.1. I began by installing through the Voyager Editor, but that failed and I used my sequencer (Logic) and the OS MIDI files to attempt an install a second...

Thanks for the info. My AE is signed in silver pen.
Is that one of the Moog-branded ones, or the Turnkey version? I know that Moog signed both versions.

I have a Moog-branded (US-sourced) SE signed in the silver pen as well...

Re: Autographed MMV?

I just saw a MMV AE on ebay that was hand signed by Dr. Moog! I wonder how many of these he may have signed? Does anyone else have one? -Fred My Voyager is signed, to the left of the display. What's the diffecernce between this Voager and mine, then? I thought there were 600 Signature Editions anyw...

Re: Voyager -> VX-351 -> Korg MS20

Anyway, I am considering a VX-351 to interface into my MS-20. I know the MS20 used Hz for keyboard CV input so playing one from the other is tricky without serious patching. As a slight aside, MS-20 users might want to know that you are not restricted to using one scaling with the MS-20. This is fr...

Re: Need help on finding a new synth to keep my Moog warm.

Hi.. Just wondering if anyone had some recomendations for a new synth. I currently have a AE Moog Voyager. Its great, but I want a poly synth, and I want great sounding pads with poly. Was thinking of the Nord Lead 3, V Synth, or the Access Viruis ti. Anyone have something to say or add? Thanks! Co...

I think Goa, like any established musical niche, needs to keep evolving or it will stagnate and die. Very well said. Although I was reffering to Astral Projection as an inspiration, as well as I like their sounds. Other than that , I would not want to be them. I am sure God gives each of us a uniqu...

hmmm - just expired for a 3rd time with no bids.. The starting bid is only £1500 and there is no reserve. Seems like a BIG depreciation for a £3000 synth.. Still waiting on my purchase but should be within a week.. From a purely fiscal point of view: the way things are with the second-hand (and new...
