Re: Slim Phatty w/ Ableton via USB
Slim is great. Congratulations! Three things you could check ... 1) You didn't let us know if you checked your midi channels. 2) Is the Slim Phatty showing that midi is being received? ( I am not near my Slim, but something on the screen flashes when the Slim Phatty receives a midi note-on). 3) Have...

Re: Filter FX
Resonance full to get the whistle
Envelope Depth =0
All the work is being done by LFO mapped to filter cutoff
Descending sawtooth at lowest rate gives you the slow sweep
Speeding up LFO gives you the burps and snarls.
Nice track. Thanks for sharing!!

Re: Slim Phatty - 2 modulations?
This technique works for me. There are speeds below which the "LFO" does not go, of course ... but I get usable results at "vibrato" rates ...

Try disconnecting your midi input while the unit is warming up. It could be that something in your rig is sending note-ons to your phatty while it is trying to tune....

MF Drive filter versus ladder filter in Moog synths
Can the filter in MF Drive replicate the kind of pedal based wah that one could use a MF101 or one of the Moog synths for? Does the filter ever close completely? Is it a 4 pole low pass? In the youtube videos I have seen it seems more like a peaking filter with some gain (resonance) that you can swe...

Re: Slim Phatty Firmware 3.2 Question ...
No, that setting has no meaning for the Slim Phatty. It was actually an oversight to include it on the Slim menu. I've already built a v3.21 which fixes a small Note Calibration bug, and removes "noKB" from the Local Control options for Slim Phatty (the "noKB" option still appea...

Slim Phatty Firmware 3.2 Question ...
In the email for the Little/Slim Phatty Firmware I received from Moog, it says that it includes: • LOCAL CONTROL: OFF, ON, noKB. The new "noKB“ setting turns local control OFF for the keys only, while all knobs still affect the sound. What does this feature mean (if anything) for the Slim Phatt...

Re: SP Tribute?
A puzzlement. The first part sounds like an app, or an addition to an app. The second part sounds like a MURF. ??
With inter-app audio, I guess anything is possible.

Slim Phatty - Turn off envelopes for audio in?
Is there a setting in the Slim Phatty which will allow me to use the filter and audio in as a non-dynamic filter and amp stage for polyphonic material. (I realize I can set envelope depths on full and change midi channels so that the moog is not listening to the incoming midi, but it would be nice t...
