Re: SUB 37 annoyingly bright rate/ sync LED

I am fine with the steady L.E.D. lights especially when you can dim those but just wished there was an option do disable all the blinking (LFOs et al). I understand that the blinking lights have a function to show speed but I am over sensitive and would prefer to just set it up by ear.

Re: Alternative editor/librarian?

You need a browser that support WEB MIDI API.
That currently is Chrome and all related browsers like Chromium and also Opera. Edge might work too, but is not tested.

Re: Alternative editor/librarian?

I have built a simple SysEx Librarian for the Voyager and some other synths that works in the Goggle Chrome browser.

Re: Important Question About VX-351

I have installed the adapter in my Voyager, but currently don't use the VX-351. Is it o.k. to keep the adapter installed or should I remove it when I don't use the VX-351?

Re: Bank dump format

Hey, I am looking forward to hear how far you got since the last post. since then I programmed a SysEx librarian for Voyager in Javascript. You can request the soundbank via MIDI, view and edit the patch names and store them back into editbuffer or program slot. That is fully working and you can see...

Re: FS-1 Footswitch as a permanent switch

Thanks, I guess you can exchange the switch. I just wanted to be sure that there is not some kind of hidden "setting" where you can change the behaviour on the fly..

FS-1 Footswitch as a permanent switch

Is it possible to set up/modify the FS-1 Footswitch as a permanent switch?
Mine works as a momentary switch, but I like it to be permanent to switch on/off a Space Echo.

Re: Bank dump format

Can you elaborate on the 7 bit conversion? looking at the document, the characters are actually split between bytes, so you would have to stream several of the bytes together in 7 bit chucks, then unwind it in 8 bits? I'm on a slightly different track looking for something like this document for th...

No current plan for that.
But if you just want to reorder some programs in your voyager you can totally do that anonymous without registration.

Re: LASER Mammoth is a new SysEx Librarian for Voyager

P.S.
You don't have to overwrite the sounds on your Voyager to prelisten banks.
You can load a bank from the database and click through the sounds (cursor keys work too).
These sounds are sent to the Voyagers Edit Buffer for prelistening so nothing will be deleted on your synth!

Re: LASER Mammoth is a new SysEx Librarian for Voyager

Do you collect a fee single sounds as well? Maybe a Moog Forum bank made from sounds of several members? Not sure if I understand you right. Here is what is possible: Assuming you want to generate a "best of sound bank" you can send several Voyager banks via Sysex and save them into "...

Re: LASER Mammoth is a new SysEx Librarian for Voyager

tried, very nice and helpful: Glad you liked it! I downloaded the bank "solitud"; very beautiful sounds; you have programmed them too? Not really, that is just a dump of my Voyager, mainly with the factory sounds. I just published that to display that is possible to share sounds. In the c...

Re: LASER Mammoth is a new SysEx Librarian for Voyager

Congratulations! ;) Didnt try yet but if works ease and fine its a very nice tool and pratical. Cheers Thanks! I tried to make it as easy as possible. The biggest restriction is the small selection of supported browsers. In return you don't have to install anything and it works even in Linux (Chrom...

Re: LASER Mammoth is a new SysEx Librarian for Voyager

It would be a big help, if the page would name the compatible browsers on opening the start page. And not after I connected my synth and hit the button. Although this is another great idea, I am not going to use Chrome here. Sorry, I will try to make this clearer. Currently it also works in the Ope...

LASER Mammoth is a new SysEx Librarian for Voyager

Hello, I am a long term Voyager user (it is exactly this one :D ). I have developed a SysEx Librarian which works directly in Googles Chrome browser so you don't have to install anything. You can send the programs to the browser, rename, preview or delete them and even share sounds with other users....
