Re: OptoKey Minimoog D contacts now in production

Alien,

Thanks for the installation report. I was kind of waiting to hear how it went. Also the videos are
excellent reference material.

Great product Kevin, might have to order one soon.

Laterz,
D

Re: Fun Vibrations

Voltor... Yes it was 1968. Things were simple yet complicated. Had to sell those tracks to 1968 standards. Using Moog as a sales item. The sound was a part of the time. It was essential to the "sound".

Re: Fun Vibrations

Guys,

Here's "Fun Vibrations" from 1968 as sung for WDVH Radio in Gainesville, Florida. Cuts using the Moog Modular for effects and sonovox driver tones. Hope you can appreciate what is was for and the time.

Re: Lost Sound out of Osc 3

Thanks to both Alien and Kenneth for your response. I just have known that certain electronics act in a strange way due to atmospheric conditions. I am just trying to protect my investment. I hope my friend Amos might respond if he see's this post. As time rolls on I guess we all wonder about time a...

Re: Lost Sound out of Osc 3

Hey Alien and Kevin, I have wondered about how humidity affects a Mini or a Voyager and of course modular systems. We had some high humidity this weekend and my buddy's Model D is acting weird. Talked to a guy at a studio in Dallas, he says leave it off until humidity drops below 65 %. I'm getting w...

Kenneth,

Nice track, very relaxing is how I describe that. The Casiotone gives it individuality. Excellent work.

Yo,

Wanna hear something kinda strange but cool in it's own right. Beaver and Krause doing
a ditty called "Dr. Fox" on Moog Modular #1042. They have some cool stuff.

Re: Fun Vibrations

Museslave, You might right about that. He may not have done jingles but a lot of radio stations used "Walking in Space" from the "Electronic Hairpieces" album for on air contests, I think they called it "The Last Contest". And a TV station in Cleveland used "Good M...

Fun Vibrations

I went on to the Moog Archives this weekend and looked at the modular systems sold from 1968 forward and lo and behold the first customer on January 5, 1968 was PAMS! I used to work there as the editor. I edited all the jingle packages for radio stations in the 1990's and while we did not have the m...
