Re: Sub 37 does not receive CC19?
As far as I know CC19 is what I should use. My controller sends 0~127. I can successfully use all other CCs and they do as expected, and I've confirmed that the CC19 is sent to the Sub37. But it doesn't do nothing. Altering the Cutoff with the filter CV works fine though. I tried sending CC19 while ...

Sub 37 does not receive CC19?
I've been trying to change the cutoff freq using MIDI but nothing seems to be working.
I'm able to use an expression pedal via Filter CV no problem. But I'm not able to change the value using cc19 like the manual says???

Re: Best MIDI controller for Sub 37
I use an old Boss GT6B Floor unit. it sends MIDI Program changes that can be interpreted by the phatty.
It has a whole bunch of pedals and an expression pedal that works with the phatty.

Re: Sub 37, Fine Tune
It may be "That's what ears are for" but the listening environment is not always ideal. So it's nice to be able to rely on electronics a bit.
What the enable/Disable like the little phatty. Is there such a feature on the Sub 37? To NOT accidentally change it without noticing?

Sub 37, Fine Tune
Hi MOOG. I'm quite excited with my brand new Sub37 and looking forward to know all the insides of this beast. I can now say confidently that I don't regret having sold my Little phatty for this great upgrade. NOW: Can somebody explain me a bit better the fine tune knob as a tuning control? on the Li...

Re: Cool Little Phatty Mod
Thank you everybody.
Actually, this is the bass version of the diamond comp. It's is almost the same as the guitar version but the tilt eq frequency can be set @ 200 Hz instead of the regular 900Hz.
There is no lo-pass filter on it so it's no big deal if I use it with hi-freq sounds.

But I always found it was missing a leveler to even out the different patches....

I'd like to bring this thread back out as I'm wondering the exact same thing. What does it do?PHC wrote:What's the difference between EGR Reset and Legato OFF? Either way the envelopes are triggered at every note I play. Maybe I'm missing something?

Re: Any way of normalizing output levels per patch?
Sorry to bring back this topic from the dead but do you guys have any suggestion for a good compressor/leveler that won't touch too much to the tone. Like the original poster, I'm using my LP to play live bass.
