So just to be clear, this Ableton Live/SLim Phatty stcuk note problem hasnt been fixed with the firmware update for me. I tried a few different set ups, and it lasts for about 5 minutes before freaking out in Ableton.

Besides the problems using the SP in Ableton, I noticed prolonged use in Logic, causes the rest of the midi/audio tracks to stop putting out sound. Its a no win situation it seems. Can anyone else confirm this logic issue?

Amos, I understand your situation. Best to take time making the Minitaur firmware sharp. When your done, and you can have a fresh mind, Im sure you will see with issues with the Slim Phatty and fix it. No rush, rushing will never fix anything. We have 2 choices. Im right here with you buddy. I also Just bought mine on Febuary 8th. I know that Amos is working on a new firmware for us, and apparently it will be released very soon. Ableton is hell to work with regarding the Slim Phatty, but Logic seems to work to a degree. I believe they will fix this problem.

Also regarding the engineering of the software. I believe we shouldnt put down or bash the problems of the Slim Phatty. Its better to encourage the development of a solution, then discouraging the engineers, and putting them down. Its not easy to impliment software inside an analog machine, and Im s...

I tested the current PC only USB Firmware update. I still get glitched out hanging notes. I cant use my slim phatty at all. It wont even work for more than 2 minutes. Please update not only a USB update, but an OS update as well. Its gotta be the OS.

I actually just thought of one thing.....When I plug my Slim Phatty straight USB into my computer, and use the Piano roll in Ableton. I still got all of the same problems. Just sayin, if this USB update doesnt work, than I think its gotta be the OS

After Speaking with Perry, I downloaded the latest USB update. Nothing showed up on the Slim Phatty Screen, but when I checked the System Utilities menu, the last 2 digits was 34, and that signified that the Slim Phatty took in the update. I will test out when I get home from work, and let you know ...
