Re: Ghost Bossa

Where did you find the old pics and footage for this? I dug dug dug online and saved everything to my hard drive- Lots of photos and super 8 videos from the 50s and older- I kept coming back to one found depicting a day in the life of a Tasmanian family in the late 40s/early 50s(?)- It was odd in i...

Re: Ghost Bossa

This is nice too... but I perfer Mack Truck... behind me! Do all the vids on your Youtube channel are tracks? you mean, are all the vids my tunes? if so, yes- the videos were done by me with help from my friends/family, over the past couple of years- I recorded the music for the videos over a span ...

Re: Ghost Bossa

Moogslob, filtered, eh, whateva, haha- If forum members address me as "Moogslob", with my "name" being "filtered", it'll confuse the lurkers, but isn't that half the forum fun? Using "filtered" was kind-of an in joke for this forum too, if you get what I'm ref...

Ghost Bossa

here's a new one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCoULFQ9Xac&context=C360be44ADOEgsToPDskJZrUYdh00TIGQ1VHbf47HI guitar, bass, drum machine, wurlitzer, and 3 tracks of Moog and by the way, not that it matters, but I'm the user that was called moogslob- locked myself out of my account, so took the...

Re: What is the values for pure saw and square waveforms?

a dialed in pure saw/square/etc. is not exactly the same from machine to machine (correct anyone?)- my OSC2 is a hair counterclockwise from the dial indicators, OSC3 is pretty spot on, OSC1 is similar to OSC2- I use my ear, but muscle memory works when mid-song tweaking...

Re: MG-1 (or Rogue) Freq. drift

30-40 seconds sounds like mine, back in the day- for a song-length drone, I'd use a piece of tape to hold her in tune- a matchbook wedged in might do more harm to the keyboard, in my opinion- but a MG-1/Rogue holding pitch indefinitely while "continuous"? the fix wouldn't be cheap, and you...

Re: problems with your Voyager, or not?

Biggest problem I have with my EB is lack of talent as a keyboard player.
 do you have a poly instrument as well? in my opinion, if you work on your keyboard chops on a poly instrument, going mono is a piece of cake- your free hand, left or right, can then turn into the knob tweaker!
