Re: LP MIDI - Just why is it so frustrating?
Yup I guess he must be. Didn't wanted to sound like mean. Aside from doing music, get on tour or being in studio i'm also a programmer myself so i understand and can't blame him. That's also the reason why i'm not that much active on this board. However, it's a bit a shame to see all those posts rel...

Re: LP MIDI - Just why is it so frustrating?
Hum quite a shame nobody didn't tried to give some helps. I understand your frustration...I'm not sure about those problems. Two reasons : First, i don't have that problem because i'm just basically using midi (note on/off velocity pitch bend but not advanced fancy stuff) Second, saw a lot of thread...

Re: A Ghost in the Machine
Hi Tom Welcome on Board, The problems that I am having are that the output volume of the Phatty seems to vary greatly preset to preset My guess is that some presets have the overload knob turn all the way up while some others aren't using the ladder distortion at all. This increase the volume quite ...

Well, as long as your input signal is below +6/7v you should be safe no matter what

Re: Electric guitar through Little Phatty anyone?
Hi matty, From the SP manual (Appendix J - specifications) you can read Audio In accepts +4dBu line level signal. Straight out from the Guitar you'll have an "instrument level signal" that might be too weak to drive SP's Audio In with appreciable results. That's why amp sim, a preamp secti...

Re: Slim Phatty CV-inputs + Analogue Systems
I've emailed moog support some month ago with a similar question. Here's the answer : Theoretically, the Slim's Gate jack should be robust enough to handle +15v. However, I don't recommend doing this for prolonged periods of time. If you plan using this setup regularly, then a CV attenuator is an ex...

Gate CV range
Hello,
I would like to control my moog SP with another keyboard which output a +15V High Gate CV. Gate low is 0V, Gate high is +15V uncalibrated, as the SP Is expecting a +5V Gate signal, should i use an attenuator or would the moog sp handle it internally ?
Many thanks by advance.
Regards.

Re: best Amp (not PA) for slim phatty
Hey, I'm exactly in the same situation. I use my synths in amps by choice. I could have go DI or use a PA but we choosed amps by sound aesthetic. My drummer which is sound engineer also choosed amps for some technical reason. I've tried lot of options, KB amps, bass amps, guitar amps. Sometimes with...

Well, they are many kind of sirens (dub siren, police siren, ...) but basically it's as simple as an lfo modulating the pitch of the OSC.

Re: Errors updating firmware
a stable pc without processes running  I'll give you all my analog set-up if you could ever make a computer works without processes running. That's total non-sense. No offense but...really, i'm sorry if you paid 100€ for such a comment which is total crap. Anyway, glad you got a fix for the ...
