My SP is in tune after 20-30 min of warm up (both VCO:s that is). But it's not rock solid until it has been on for about an hour. Lucky for me I'm used to analog machines so it's not really an issue.

To me it sounds like the SP don't recieve any midi clock from PT. I get the same problem with my SP if I don't choose an output for the midi clock in Logic. It's annoying when you forget it but it's an easy fix.

I have heard other owners say that the SP is "phatter" ( ) than the LP. To me they sound the same but I have not had any chance to do a side to side test.
