What unit was it? I looked at their stuff, and I didn't see any that did better than 30-18k.

I'm leaning towards the Shure PGX-Digital. It's the only unit I've found that does a full 20-20k.

Interesting. I 20k is borderline (young people can hear above that, I still can), but it's nice to know guitar units aren't ruled out. I'll check some of their specs.

Thanks for the tips. It still works great - I just want to keep it that way for years to come! I think mine might be missing the tape covering. The top layer is just a braided mesh of small steel wires. There's supposed to be a layer on top of that? Do you have a good picture of one? I'll grab a pic...
