That's brilliant, thanks so much for taking the trouble to take photos! I figured there must be a groove in it, and your photos will make it much easier to reconstruct.

When I first got my minimoog 30 odd years ago it worked very well (and still does incredibly) but the woodwork was very beaten up from previous heavy touring and gigging. It's not got magically better over the years so I've decided to give it a bit of new life and currently have it all disassembled ...

scrap my first wish in that list! didn't realize you need to export/import them via the setup page, seems a tad awkward but at least it can be done.

Animoog is great soft synth no doubting that, and who can complain at the introductory price ? It's not as unique as Moog would have us believe in the blurb though, but the wavetables are generally great and the keyboard is probably the best and most playable and expressive touch keyboard I've used ...
