Re: Share your synthesizer music!
So, I moved this in the hopes that more would listen (shameless, I know ). Here is the first track from my new solo project. Written, recorded, programmed, mixed, and edited by me. Mastered by Mercury. All tracks except for the drums were done with the Voyager, utilizing various effects and am...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Alain... sweet sounds, as always. Well done, mate. I love the little half step at the end of the bass line phrase, nice touch. Love that lead sound as well, so smooth. Flareless, great track, definitely reminds me of Tangerine Dream...even sense a little Pink Floyd in there. Beautiful timbres, btw. ...

Video: Mother-32 with accompanying modules and effects
I had a very slow day at the office yesterday, so I brought my small modular kit to work, along with my dog, Poot. Together we made a bizarre little video. The main sequence is the Mother through Strymon El Capistan and Blue Sky, with some MicroBrute accompaniment, and an extra Pittsburgh oscillator...

Cheers, stiiiiiiive.
Yeah, that glitchy-gritty sequence is the Make Noise Mysteron, an incredibly mysterious sound source.
I suppose, s.t.e.m. is sort of a new project...or just a new name that I'll be releasing solo stuff under.
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: DSI Tetra
I owned a Tetra for about 2 weeks before I sold it to a friend. Personally, I didn't like the sound or the interface (talk about tedious  ). I honestly was never too crazy about the '08 either, just from noodling in stores and watching videos. However, I did purchase a Prophet 6 in February an...

Re: Low volume output when mounted in Eurorack.
I haven't tried headphones yet. But, the Mother's signal definitely seems stronger when it's in its own case, using the 1/4" audio-out on the back.

I'm using a Pittsburgh Modular OUTs, with a standard instrument cable going to the interface.

Re: Low volume output when mounted in Eurorack.
Well if you're using the filter it will certainly be quieter than a non-filtered module -- that's the point of a filter after all. Is the volume level from the raw oscillator outs correct? Haha, thanks, but that's definitely not the issue. I've checked it with the filter completely opened. Besides,...

Low volume output when mounted in Eurorack.
I've recently moved my Mother into a 6u travel case with other eurorack modules. When using the 1/8" VCA-out the Mother seems to have a significantly lower volume level than the other modules in the case. I've even tried running it through an additional VCA in an attempt to boost the signal, bu...

Re: NAMM 2016 NEW SYNTHS
The Matrixbrute has some interesting concepts, I particularly like the idea of all those euro-friendly CVs. However, after owning a Microbrute (which is fun and sounds pretty cool) I can't imagine the overall quality of the Matrix will be very impressive. Especially at that price point, something h...

What do you have to do to get banned here, anyway? They are in a bind and have painted themselves in a corner by sending us transsexuals in the toilet e-mail. They decided this topic is appropriate business correspondence and tied their brand to it, not me. They opened a can of worms and crossed a ...

^^^^^^ I have lost interest in this conversation. I have taken very high dose and achieved peak experiences. Nothing I am going to say is going to change your mind and honestly I don't even want to change your mind. I don't even care about the topic of psychedelics-- I only entered into this part o...
