Just been doing this research myself and have ordered a MSY2 from Doepfer. The other good unit I found was the Philip Rees MDS (midi to din sync) converter. These are generally selling cheaper than the Doepfer's, unfortunately they don't make them anymore so need to watch ebay or second hand sites. ...
