Re: Songs w/ Little Phatty

nice drums, xomb. Thanks for listening, Spirfire. I cleaned it up a tiny bit, but the couple of moments of clipping I can never fix unfortunatley http://soundcloud.com/flippo/drones-and-piano Liked your sound. Obviously got great composition skills. Did this one this afternoon. Just a clip from a mo...

Re: Why have I never seen an Australian Redback Edition anyw

I always thought it was a kinda odd special addition, especially given it's an American company. Maybe someone at Moog has an arachnid fetish?

If I'm ever in Awave of BH with a camera i'll take a snap to prove they exist for you!

Re: Why have I never seen an Australian Redback Edition anyw

pretty sure the phatty that I first played was a redback one. It was at Billy Hyde in Flemington, Vic AUS (i.e. just down the road from me).

I'm also pretty sure I've seen one in AWAVE in South Yarra.

Re: Songs w/ Little Phatty

http://soundcloud.com/flippo/drones-and-piano A bit of drone/noise with some freejazz. Long drawn out slow burning ambient piece (10 mins) if you feel you've got the patience for it :) Using the Slim Phatty as a drone style synth for nice phat bass hums and gurgles. MF-104z, Mf-108m and MF-105M in ...

Re: My Cluster Flux is really noisy...

if you turn the feedback up of course it's going to make noise. Anything with feedback, particularly analog, is going to make noise on its own.

Re: Anyone willing to part with their MF-104SD?

nice one mate :). I see you have the 5 and 8 also. Tip - run the 105 on the loop section of the 104 (rate has to be faster in the 105 if you want to prevent the filters resonating off their tits) Then run the 104 into the 108 on a ligh chorus at 50% mix, with stereo out. (heavily attenuated nice and...

Re: Thread for MF-108 pics/recordings

ahoy hoy. some early experiments with my MF-108M, also featuring MF-104SD. for my live electronica/dub set I had a 'dub siren' section ready to go. I now realised that with the MF-108 self oscilating, it makes a great analog dub siren. http://soundcloud.com/flippo/moogerfooger-dub-siren-old :) Also ...

Re: new moog head, feat. dub techno

so my 104SD arrived and I picked up a shiny new 108M :). I also took my 104SD into a retailer to try it out with the CP-251. Results were not as musical as I'd like really, I think it's better suited to synthesis. I decided to pass on it as the 105M and 108M have enough control going on via midi and...

new moog head, feat. dub techno

Hi folks, I've just recently got into moog gear. I purchased a slim phatty and a midi murf a couple of weeks ago, and I have a mf-104SD on the way :) I produce various sorts of electronica. Generally been mostly software, apart from a few rack units, and the slim is my first analog synth. I really g...
