Re: Square wave LFO not working
Ok, I just realized that my Voyager is very likely in the group of units with faulty ICs, according to the support bulletin. I will check as soon as I´m at home.

Square wave LFO not working
Hello everybody! The square wave LFO of my Voyager Select is not working. I´m not able to use it in either of the Mod busses. S&H has also no effect (I assume it´s because of the missing square wave). The triangle LFO does work. I have also checked with the VX-351, same result. Does anyone else ...

That would be exactly what I need... I wasn´t aware of the Gecko, b.t.w. It looks cool! I will give those boxes a try

Switch to next/previous preset via Midi
Hi everybody, I have this question related to the Midi implementation of the Voyager: Is it possible to switch to the next or previous preset via Midi? I know I can choose a specific preset via program change, but I want to achieve something different. Example: I would like to use a 2-switch-midi-pe...

Re: Used XL or new Voyager+VX351?
Well, I own a Voyager/VX-351 combo and I can tell you that sometimes I´m quite annoyed when I take it to rehearsals because it´s so heavy (and I only use a soft bag). I´m pretty sure I wouldn´t go anywhere with an XL. I´d still love to own an XL, I think it´s a great machine; a big advantage imho: t...

Re: How do i modulate ONLY "wave 2" with the LFO?
Hmmm... I don´t think this is possible. As far as I know, all three waveforms are affected at the same time by LFO modulation.

Re: Random feature on Voyager?
The Soundtower Editor has a function to create random sounds, but you can also morph between sounds or create new ones using an algorithm that lets you choose two sounds as "mother" and "father" and mutate. The results I get are surprising, yet in many cases usable or musical in ...

Re: harmonizer? (eventide pitchfactor)
Yes, I have a Voyager and a PitchFactor. It´s a great couple, I recommend getting one. Especially because it´s not only about harmonizing. One PitchFactor effect I really dig at the moment is the Harmodulator... you can get crazy arpeggiated modulation out of it. The chorus effects are also great. O...

Re: Voyager noise problem (link to clip inside)
I´d like to share a different perspective on this matter. First of all, if I personally think that the noise level is a problem, it doesn´t make me feel better that others have the same issue. And yes, I have other analog gear, like a Vermona perfourmer and an Eurorack modular, or a Dark Energy. So ...

Re: Voyager noise problem (link to clip inside)
I have the exact same noise on my Voyager (Select). Rudi Linhard had a look at it but stated that this is normal for a Voyager and that it wouldn´t be possible to make it more silent. You can hear it through patches at normal signal level, and though it´s better on the main outs compared to the head...

Re: Slew Rate Mod
My Voyager´s been updated by Rudi Linhard (http://www.lintronics.de) in Germany, and it was EUR 150. I think the price depends on the model you own, so I suggest to get in touch with him directly. I´ve heard that Moog themselves offer the mod now, but I don´t know what they´re asking.

Re: Slew Rate Mod
I made a little video comparing a modded Voyager to an unmodded one by running the waveforms through an oscilloscope... I believe the mod makes quite a big difference.

Re: Voyager Plug SE don't show up with LP9
I installed it yesterday, MacOS 10.7.4, LP9.1.7 - no problems, works perfectly. It appears in the folder AU-Instruments - Moog Music - Voyager_PlugSE. Did you use the root/library path? Macintosh HD - Library - Audio - Plug-Ins - Components > That´s the one I used.
