Re: Introduce yourself

Currently looking at buying a Subsequent 37 so I don't have to take my Matriarch out gigging. :o Hi Tomatohorse, welcome to the forum! Is there a particular reason you don't want to bring your Matriarch gigging anymore? I can see you are aa multiinstrumentalist. I find the Moogs perfectly marry aco...

Re: Introduce yourself

Before I get too old to enjoy it, I want to own and explore an analog synth. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to justify $10k for the Moog One, but I’m exploring. Be curious, enjoy your life. Rick Hi Rick and welcome! You may want to try out a synth less expensive than a One. First thing first: do...

Re: Holding a note in a sequence

Hi Dakkan!

Not sure of what you want.
Is it similar to what a sustain pedal would offer? Or anything keeping a key depressed?

Re: Key issue, bushings?

Maybe you don't want these new bushings. Maybe you do want a duophonic Minimoog :D

Re: Will a Taurus 4 ever happen?

And maybe that's what these kinds of robots are for? Hallellujah! :D I totally get you. I find there is way more distance between monophony and two-voice harmony than there is between two-voice harmony and as-many-note-as-you-want harmony. That second note makes a huge difference: it is to the monop...

Re: Keyboard issue?

Hi!
Where is the first key on your Slim Phatty? ;)
Joke aside, check the PolyChain setting in the menu. I guess it is set to "1 of 3" or "1 of 4".

Re: Key issue, bushings?

From what I know, a blocked bushing would stuck the matching note. How comes you could hear others pitches at the same time? Or did I misunderstand?

Re: Will a Taurus 4 ever happen?

Hey, a couple of nights ago, I dreamt I was playing bass pedals. I kind of liked it :)

Re: Key issue, bushings?

I was going to suggest the A440 tone generator got stuck somewhat... until you mention the fact the stuck tone was the last key C. I don't know much about the D guts but it seems very strange to me that this tone sounded while other -normal- sounds were being emitted too... Hopefully someone will ch...

Re: Subsequent 25 vs. Subsequent 37

The sequencer is another big difference.

All in all, I feel it's better to think about the Subsequent 25 as an augmented Sub Phatty rather than a stripped down Subsequent 37.

Re: Sub Phatty: OCTAVE knob problem

These are most likely the same parts as on the more recent Subsequent 25 (or 37 for that matters).
I'm confident you can obtain some :)

Re: Will a Taurus 4 ever happen?

I actually think very few people want to play synth bass pedals. Well, you'll have to convince our friend TahuluLim IA ... ;) I would ove to see a musician playing another instrument beside the Tauraus pedals. I mean: accompanying themselves. Think like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGrbgCa...

I would be curious to know how you can back this statement.
