Re: Syncing SUB 37 for live performance

Hi, welcome to the forum! Nothing seems excessive as long as it helps :) Here are a couple of options. Ploytec 34One or One.2 are pedals that will allow you send a MIDI clock signal to your synth after you to tap a tempo. The Midronome will allow the same: MIDI clock' sending and tap tempo... plus o...

Re: Subsequent 37 - Noise when press any key [Help]

Well, I don't mean to tell you what's a problem and what's not a problem, but I guess the Moog is made like this and I guess there is no proper solution. I understand that when you noticed it the first time, it's hard to listen to anything else, but my question is: is it a problem in your music once...

Re: (2024) Minimoog voyager hangs at bob screen

What if you jump in the time machine with a Voyager?
WIll you break the filter spacing - sustain time continuum?!! :)

Re: Subsequent 37 - Noise when press any key [Help]

Hi m0tabh. Not sure at all about the measured levels but what I know for sure is that analog is kind of noisy: my first guess is that what you hear is the VCA letting the "electronics breath" go. I've observed that on a Little Phatty. The fact the level peaks at -42dB and gets back to -60d...

Re: Moog/Realistic MG-1 Mod Guide

Hi Charlie, welcome to the forum :) I have an answer to only one of your questions. When one says a filter can self-oscillate , it means that the resonance, aka emphasis aka q-factor can go high enough for the filter to produce an oscillation pitched on the cut off frequency. And given the cut off f...

Re: Audio doesn't seem to work

Mate, pardon me but you sound like an AI, no offense meant :) Some clarifications: Input Level: Ensure the audio source's output level is high enough. The Slim Phatty might need a hotter signal to trigger the gate. Try cranking the source's volume a bit. The Slim/Little Phatty gate will not be trigg...

Re: A glass of red wine, an evening in with the Moog LP

I have just re-read the thread and will definitely find some AM radio to send into the gate input :) The trick I've used the most with the LP is to use it to MIDI-control a polyphonic synth and send the later's audio into to LP. I even have a couple of programs just for that (and using with an old m...

Re: A glass of red wine, an evening in with the Moog LP

Now that's a zombie thread :D My LP is still around! It's been my stage synth for years along with a Nord Electro for piano/EP/organ sounds. It has a couple of others friends at home but it is the one I feel the most comfortable with on stage. I haven't played gigs for 3 years now with the bands I u...

Re: Introduce yourself

Currently looking at buying a Subsequent 37 so I don't have to take my Matriarch out gigging. :o Hi Tomatohorse, welcome to the forum! Is there a particular reason you don't want to bring your Matriarch gigging anymore? I can see you are aa multiinstrumentalist. I find the Moogs perfectly marry aco...

Re: Introduce yourself

Before I get too old to enjoy it, I want to own and explore an analog synth. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to justify $10k for the Moog One, but I’m exploring. Be curious, enjoy your life. Rick Hi Rick and welcome! You may want to try out a synth less expensive than a One. First thing first: do...

Re: Holding a note in a sequence

Hi Dakkan!

Not sure of what you want.
Is it similar to what a sustain pedal would offer? Or anything keeping a key depressed?
