Re: Can the Sub Phatty tempo sync filter and amp envelope repeats?

Hi and welcome to the forum! The Sub Phaty will most probably not be updated now tht the Subsequent 25 is out. The loop envelope functionality is toggled via a cheat combination: are ou sure the sync is not available the same way? You may want to consult the cheat sheet for Sub Phatty or Subsequent ...

Re: Did anyone ever got any reply/help from Moog support ?

Was your query about a rather recent instrument or an old one?
I had no answer between 2015 and 2019 for queries about Little Phatty, but I've read here that the Moog support was "responsive and great". They must filter out, I guess...

Re: Slim Phatty | Cannot change presets ...

You'll not be able to change any of your presets anymore by using the "value" knob if "Local Control" has been set to "OFF". Are you sure about that? That would surprise me. The manual says it is useful for turning control of the SP’s synth engine ON or OFF locally, i....

Re: Neophyte Voyager question

Sending a CC for controlling is a thing, syncing an oscillator to a MIDI clock is another :)
Not sure OSC3 can be synced to any clock :/

Re: Hard sync and evelope help

I'm glad it helped :) Before answering about that mysterious EG AMT knob, let me try something to unveil the modulation sections secrets to you. In a nutshell, a sound is defined by a pitch (i.e. the note), a timbre (i.e. the character of it) and an amplitude (i.e. the volume). In a nutshell, your f...

Re: Hard sync and evelope help

HI and welcome! That's how you've been told. Here is a way for you to undestand it. Set up the synth as you did previsouly, and play with oscillator 2 frequency knob (you can try various octaves settings). This is when frequency is modultated that you get that sound. Now, in order to have the freque...

Re: Voyager sticky first key

Hi! I've had the opportunity to unmount a Voyager keybed lately. The (10) screws that hold it on the synth bottom plate can be tighten with the keybed 1-2mm more on the left or the right. The first time I put the screws back, I had a squeaky first key. I untightened/retightened maintaining the keybe...

Re: Filter Bank Comparison/Substitution

Funny: I realized just yesterday that the MuRF might be kind of a filter bank module... Well, written like that it seems stupid :D
Thanks for sharing! The absence of LPF/HPF on the MuRF makes it more middy, more on the LoFi side, which is not a bad thing. It has a different character.

Re: Replacement for Moog Voyager

Was not sure whether you were talking mostly about sound, you are :) About the Sub series, here is something interesting, I guess: their mixer is such as when the knob is after noon, it will start to distort. That means that keeping levels low leads to a different family of sounds, maybe closer to t...

Re: Replacement for Moog Voyager

Well, I would say: don't believe the online conversations and demos. If you want to use the Matriarch as a Voyager, it certainly will fulfill you expectations. As far as sound, I haven't heard one but it seems it sounds as a Moog should sound. On a side note, the Subsequent 37 is also a good candida...
