Is there a possibility to get in contact with Joe Rivers? Thanks.MC wrote:Joe Rivers of Audio Playground had a schematic for the dual VCO. I saw it and it is very similar to ua726 minimoog oscillator. Wish I had gotten a copy of that, he had some real obscure schematics.

Moog CE Dual VCO (DVCO)
Hi,
I am wondering if somebody has a technical manual available of the Moog CE Dual VCO.
Especially the function of the potmeters inside the apparatus.
Thanks
John

Re: Using glide and external Dual VCO with VX-351
Voyager -> VX351 -> KBD(pitch) -> DVCO (oscillator in) . . . . DVCO (out) -> Voyager (external in)
Very basic as you see.

Using glide and external Dual VCO with VX-351
Perhaps this question was raised previously, or maybe not. I am using the VX-531 on my Voyager (Signature) to have external output of e.g. the keybaord Pitch to control my Moog Dual VCO. Actually it works fine and I have now a 5-VCO Voyager. BUT . . if I switch on the glide, ,only the Voyager's VCOs...

Re: is it worth to do?
dear all, thanks for your discussion. I made my conclusion and will continue with my Signature only. Need to work to improve its sound quality as I am not really happy with it. It is not the programming, but more VCOs and Filter (recently updated). And of course with the rest of my set (Model D, Mem...

Re: is it worth to do?
yep indeed . . . . . well although I would love to have one XL I should be satisfied on what I have. especially with the signature although it could sound better. But for those part I do have the model D. Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: is it worth to do?
Sorry, it is not a select, it is the signature. #250. the first series that came out. The update was done last year. I can do tuning and other calibrations myself very well. These kind of things I also carry out for friends only, as I am not a service guy, just a stupid scientist who plays Moogs sin...

Re: is it worth to do?
thanks for the good arguments. Indeed it are the number of keys, ribbon and the left part which is similar to the VX which I also own. It is just having everything in one synth and controlling also more easy my modular. Again, your thought do give me stuff to consider to buy or not to buy. that's th...

Re: Moog Model 15 modular/Club Of The Knobs vs. Synthesizers
About 25 years ago I had a Moog Modular, it was given to me for demonstrating purposes at that time and I made also some recordings with it. Unfortunately it had to be returned. Now I own a COTK Moog clone Model 15 and an additional cabinet. COTK makes great stuff and the sound is really comparable....

Re: MP-201 Foot pedal calibration
I SOLVED THE PROBLEM. Problem was that I could not recalibrate the 'gas--pedal'. One of the possibilities was the small board containing the LED. The other was a failing 'movable-mirror'. When I received my (used) pedal it was not properly working and I had to refasten the 'movable-mirror'. Perhaps ...

Re: Moog modular users manual for sale ?(or or copy)
Just funny to know: I discovered that the Library of Congress WDC has an original version in their library, so I asked about it. After two weeks I received an answer that they could not find it any more in their well catalogued repository...

Re: MP-201 Foot pedal calibration
I have contacted Moog, and they told me that I could send it to their Tech department, however transport costs are extremely high. There must be a simple solution to check if the LED is working or not, or if there is another error in the system. Anyhow will continue in my search and hopefully it wil...
