Re: Best Moog Guitar Case?
The E1 case is fine and it fits the guitar perfectly. Cases are meant to hold guitars, not be pieces of art.

Re: What do I need when buying a new Theremin?
You'll need a straight mic stand (to mount it), a 1/4" instrument cable...maybe 10 ft long, and you will need an amp. No it does not have built in speakers. You could run it into a mixer and thru a PA. You can find all those things at a big box guitar store or on your local Craigslist. You may ...

Re: New Butterscotch E1 - Setup questions
Are you not a guitar player? Guitars always come shipped detuned...the neck can break if they are shipped tuned to pitch. If you're not competent in doing a guitar setup, I'd take it to a local reputable tech and let them do it. A set requires intonation, setting saddle height, changing neck relief....

What's so bad about deoxit? Every amp tech I know uses it....

Re: My new (old) Opus 3
Thanks guys! I'm not looking forward to the black tar/foam/goop but I know it needs to be done. And yes the delay of the onset of the chorus is incredible sounding!
So scrape off the goop? Clean the board with alcohol and q tips? And some de omit in the sliders? Then see what's happening?

Re: Piezo blend FAIL!
If your filter isn't working on all settings, contact Moog and get it fixed/replaced. These problems don't sound normal, and unfortunately, lemons do slip out or something gets damaged in shipping.

Re: Why is CV out so bad a**
It sucks cos the 108 has a tap tempo....so you could control other CVs live with a tap as opposed to trying to dial in the right LFO speed.
