Re: Compressor for the Minitaur live
Though after listening more carefully, there’s quite some noticable clicking noise when the LFO ducks the volume. Not at all pleasant. Just bought the Toraiz AS-1 and it ducks smoothly, with no effect on sound. What could cause the click noise on the Minitaur?

Re: Compressor for the Minitaur live
I realised I can just control the Minitaur volume with the Octatrack that’s already sending MIDI notes. That way I can also adjust or program the ducking easiky with just a knob. And the Minitaur doesnt have to be fed through a compressor that might colour/alter its sound. Very pleased!

Compressor for the Minitaur live
I’ve got a live setup with drummachines, sampler and synths where the Minitaur does the bass. Very pleased with it’s solid sound and easy/fun tweaking live. But. I think I need a compressor with sidechain to make it suck a bit when the kicks hit. I’ve had a MachineDrum for many years and when I just...

Re: Dark Time to Voyager via CV/Gate - Slight problem
Yes, that's what I've been doing. Problem is that when I press an A the DT plays in G. Don't feel like having that to think of when playin like this. Tried MIDI out from Voyager to DT In and then MIDI Out from DT to Voyager. But the Voyager can't be set to the same channel I and O (creating a loop t...

Dark Time to Voyager via CV/Gate - Slight problem
I want to sequence my Voyager with my Dark Time through CV/Gate so I can use the Voyagers keys to transpose the sequence. Dark Time set to 1V. I can set it up so it triggers just fine, but I've rum in to a slight problem. Even though I press an A it plays a G. Is there some setting I'm forgetting? T...

Re: Which simple but effective seuqencer for Voyager
I have a dark time as well. I am still coming to grips with how to use it though: can you control it's notes with a midi keyboard? I waste a lot of time fiddling with the knobs, to get certain pitches. a keyboard would be a lot easier to setup sequences No, I don't think that's possible. Though you...

Re: Which simple but effective seuqencer for Voyager
I really like my Dark Time. Sends MIDI as well as CV with lots of I/O. I can send one row to Voyager via MIDI and the other row to CV in on Mooogerfooger delay controlling Mix or Feedback. Love that it's so tactile (?) with its switches and (lager than SQ1) knobs

Re: Gain stage for Mix Out/Filter In
Sorry, I'm an idiot. Totally forgot about the Knob Tweak article. Though I would like to know what you use to boost the signal. Got a Minifooger Drive but maybe its to hot.

Gain stage for Mix Out/Filter In
Thought I'd finally experiment with pushing the filter harder for some overdrive but I'm not quite sure how to do it. I haven't got a decent mixer for this unfortunately. Are there any small devices that can be used with a good result? Sorry if this already has been asked a hundred times. Tried to s...

Re: Doepfer Dark Time + Voyager Question
Got the DT and Voyager. I like to use it 2x8 with first row to Voyager via MIDI and the second row to Moogerfoogers via CV. My favourite is to send second row to Delay Mix and thereby control if there's a delay on each note. Fun to keep second row on seven steps, that way you keep the bassline but t...

Patch to add the sound of muted strings inbetween notes
This is a little funny. I bought a Voyager because I had tried to make the electric bass sound like a synth bass for a while but couldn´t quite get there (obviously!) and now I want the Voyager to sound like an electric bass! What I´m after is the possibility to make the sound of a muted bass string...
