The oscillator board was upgraded to the latest one with the resistor arrays. Standard practice when getting a Mini serviced back when they were in production. Not sure about the foam in that case. Is it very firm or does it squish a bit? It also doesn't seem to be thick enough around the edges to protect the synth. At least I would be uncomfortable shipping it with that case.

Try swapping the CEM3360. If you need another one I have them in stock.

FM (both analog and digitial) has traditionally been prominent in EBM. Not a lot of Moog although I've gotten some excellent hard-edge EBM style sounds out of my Memorymoog using it's filter FM. A Pro-One and a DX7 would be my suggestion as the perfect synths for the genre.

It would actually be a good idea to replace all the PM LEDs with new ones which draw a lot less current to help out the strain on the old power supply... I was thinking of doing this on my Memorymoogs...

Nice score... If you don't want smoke you should replace those tantalums too.

I've had to replace quite a few 3046s and flaky tempcos on my OB-X cards too...
