Re: warm up?
My little phatty TE takes quite a long time to warm up, and it never really gets 100% stable (if you play the highest note and the lowest note, they will both never be fully in tune). But after about 20 minutes I'm kind of ready to use it, I invested some money in a tune pedal with true bypass as we...

Re: Modified ARP Odyssey
hey guys, I just got word that Phil Cirrocco at CMS synthesizers has finished modifying my ARP. Theres a photo on his site with him holding my ARP in front of a small wall of modified ARP synths. http://www.discretesynthesizers.com/arptronics/arp2800.htm I just had to brag about it. This looks awes...

Re: Cool white noise "oscillator" trick
I think it might be interesting enough to use a hi pass filter on the white noise before feeding it in the Phatty, to create a thinner sound (something I do a lot in VST's) and to be able to have more of the white noise effect with less low end troubles (so you just have the hiss of the white noise...

Re: Tribute edition-> hardware upgrade in Germany?
Well, the question is how much more you love the Tribute Edition than the Stage Edition. I would recommend you to add the CV output mod if you do send your Tribute to Moog, you might regret you didn't do that ^^. I recently bought a used Tribute Edition OS 1,02c and I asked myself a question similar...

Re: Cool white noise "oscillator" trick
I use something similar, though i use an app for my iphone called WhiteNoise. the app generates noise colour from red though pink white blue to violet and has a tuneable low-pass and high-pass filter. Great idea here, I have an andriod though but I found an app that generates White, Pink or "B...

Re: Amplification ?
Currently I am playing through my only amp, a Hiwatt Maxwatt G20r. Sounds quite good though, but I will soon upgrade to a DNS bass-amplifier modded to be a guitar/organ/synth amp.

Re: Power Booster when processing through LP?
That's a good point, I'll have to check that the boost is not too much mid-range for an organ. If I feel that I'm not entirely happy with the booster I'd probably go for some kind of preamp, a tube preamp feels a bit too far, considering my economy and the fact that I just bought a Moog ^^. I see yo...

Re: Power Booster when processing through LP?
I'm guessing you have more than one signals going into that mixer? Cos I only have one other instrument that will need processing through the Moog. So I guess a booster is better for me anyway. Still thank you for replying :DSir Nose wrote:I use the channel gain on a mixer with individual outs.

Power Booster when processing through LP?
Hi all, I just bought my TE LP and tried to process my Nord Electro 2 through it. It works fine, I still don't understand fully how the EG works with external audio, but that's ok. My main problem is that even though I have both the "master volume" and the "output level" knobs ma...

Re: LP Stage II or Tribute?
Bought the little phatty tribute edition today. As I said in my previous post, software doesn't matter to me anymore, I just love this sound. Thank you Moog for making this awesome sound possible!

Re: LP Stage II or Tribute?
Found out today that the current OS in the Phatty tribute edition I want is 1.02c. Not that impressing huh? :D I also got the opportunity to test a used voyager RME. After playing around with it for a while, I got this strange desire to compare with the phatty. As soon as I turned it on and played t...

Re: What do you do?
I have played keyboards in a classic rock band for one year now. We have really not reached that far since we put the final line up together just one month ago, it's been lots and lots of issues with band members during this one year haha :P This far all I have had for gear is my Nord Electro 2, my ...

Re: LP Stage II or Tribute?
I've seen the clip and learned it. Though, I did change it up after the first part. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5DFNfZz6qs I hope I'm wrong, but if you aren't motivated enough to work those chops now, getting one more board without the arp ain't gonna change things. Having said that: prove me w...
