Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Yeah, I caught that too. It was actually not the synth, but the Machinedrum which I'd programmed some tonal sounds into, that I never bothered to make sure was in tune with my synth. I suppose I could go back and tune it up with the synth and redo it, but I don;t think the original feeling would be...

Re: MIDI out on Sub Phatty
Thank you for these suggestions. I don't think it was a loop, since MIDI was terminating with the other synth (a Microbrute, which has no MIDI out DIN). But I checked to see what the Sub Phatty was plugged into: a 2x2 MidiSport. The MidiSport was turned off (to prevent MIDI loops on a different synt...

MIDI out on Sub Phatty
This evening I was trying to use my Sub Phatty to control another synth that was out of reach. I went through all of the shift-mode MIDI settings, but it wasn't sending any notes. I checked on a couple of other MIDI devices, including a MIDI monitor. What worked: pulling out the MIDI in cable. When ...

Yes, Multidrive isn't just for extreme wailing; in small amounts it adds real warmth.IgorCristo wrote:MULTIDRIVE with up to 1-2, can add a lot of great harmonics and make it sound less predictable.

Sub Phatty tips for nice sounds
I'm copying this query and my response from the Knob Tweak mailing list at Yahoo. Feel free to add, modulate, or correct: I find it quite difficult to make 'nice/beautiful' sounds on the SP. I end up with lotsa sounds i´d get from my MS20. I´m trying to get some creamy nice moog leads, but that's so...

Re: Animoog iPhone AUDIOBUS???
So - is the IAP restore on the iPhone version intentional? It's great news if it is. Can someone at Moog clarify the position on that please? Inquiring minds want to know. I have the same question. I've bought most of the IAP packs, but not all of them. When I restored, I got all of them, including...

https://soundcloud.com/kennethgregorybressler/longfellows-theme Here is a piece of ambient music I did on the Korg Poly-61 (shaping up to be my favorite poly out of all I have owned). Re: Share your synthesizer music!
I determined that its character was sufficiently different form the Mini. Its oscillator is a lot nicer sounding, less metallic all around. This is really interesting! I decided I like the idea of the Minibrute more than the actual sound, but if the Micro is really that different I will give it ano...

Re: New Arturia Step Sequencer for Sub Phatty!?
Thanks for posting about this. There's been so much talk about the sequencer, it's easy to forget this is also a box of MIDI knobs. Speaking of which, how do they feel? (In case anyone's curious, the knobs on the new Bass Station II feel very solid and smooth.)

Re: Sub Phatty - Arpeggiator in Update?
I'd welcome an update, too. But I would never call the "Sub Phatty" boring, anymore than I would call the original Model D boring, or even the Korg Volca Bass.h4ndcrafted wrote:I find the Subs limited control a bit boring at present.
