Re: Moog One vs other Polysynths
Lol no no, that's not my intent... but i guess it does come across that way. I guess because this is just such a special synth, it kind of begs the question. But you're right, def a can of worms. My bad lol

Moog One vs Other Polysynths
I'm wondering how the Moog One stacks up against other digital polysynths, namely the Nords Lead 2 or 3, and the Virus TI (or any other popular/trusted analog or digital models). I've always said a polyphonic Moog would be my last synth, but I can't help but wonder if it will outclass digital and an...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
So, I tried having my SH-101 go into a new EHX Cathedral... big mistake. The impedance mismatch and my results after the level setting procedure was unsatisfactory. Far to audible noise, feedback... just an outright mess. I returned it and got out of the idea of trying any EHX pedals with synths. Th...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
Here are my experiences with some guitar pedals with various synths. Retro-Sonic chorus clips past 1/4 volume level on all my synths. Such a drag because of signal to noise ratio issues downstream for recording and playing live but it sounds so good when its not clipping. Effectivy Wonder Juno Chor...

Hey y'all. Sorry for stepping away for so long without refreshing the list on page one. I'm getting to this now... great feedback everyone!
@kurt2100 - Glad to hear this post has helped. It ain't easy getting effects, so getting feedback from users is key.

Re: Religion and Politics thread coming soon....
In a society where corporations skirt accountability and responsibility, and certain political factions endorse such behavior (not to mention that such factions believe in welfare for big businesses and not for the poor), I am impressed with Moog for simply stating, in a concise and graceful manner,...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
@ollimac73 did you run synths into the Behringer? What is your view on the hardware (since we are focusing on pedal/stompboxes in this thread)? Thanks! For what it costs...the Behringer Echo Space is a great pedal, a must have. For a Live setups, I will wait the Strymons...but at home, to...

Re: Social Entropy Engine and Octatrack Similar?
@hookedonsonics I would also take a look at the Squarp Pyramid. They're a new company from France that is run by some really nice and forward-thinking people. I have a unit on order and should receive it soon. I have been between it and the Cirklon myself. The only thing killing the Cirklon for me i...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
I just got my EHX Bass Soul Food overdrive. It really is as transparent as they say it is. Sounds great for basic overdrive (as opposed to fuzz or distortion) and keeps as much of your original tone without getting muddy. It has a blend knob, which is essential for synths, and a "treble" ...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
Yeah, Eventide is awesome, too. They replaced one of my Space pedals when it was on the fritz. No questions asked, they sent me the return box and stuff, then sent me a new one. They took my call and hooked it up.
