Re: Will a stable Minitaur editor be released someday?
I use the REV3 for Mac osX that has some issues too, impossible to save a patch or patch changing during the use... It's not usable in a professional environement. What's wrong with these editors? Don't you have the knowledge for make it work? Or you just don't care because it's your cheaper synth?...

Re: Amos, will you give us a Minitaur Editor update, please?
Initial release version of the v3 editor is done. just waiting for documentation to be completed. The Windows VST still is not working for many people; I am thinking we may need a custom driver before it will work reliably. This is due to long-standing troubles with sysex and the default Windows US...

Re: Best midi pickup
Hey Marc... The Roland GK line uses "Pitch-to-MIDI"... which scans 1/2 of a note's fundamental wave... before converting it to MIDI. So... the lower the note you play... the longer the conversion time! :( While this system sort of works for Guitar... it is just plain too slow to work for E...

Hey Amos... Ok... the Minitaur has been out for almost 2 years now... released at Winter Namm 2012! Another date to look at is: March 10, 2013. This is when a new "Firmware Update Soon" was announced on this Forum... which also then led to an announcement of a New MT Editor Version Soon! S...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas
Hey Amos... Sorry Buddy... installing 2.0.12 on my Minitaur left it not responing to any MIDI Note On Commands from any MIDI Channel! A reboot did not resolve this. I had to do the Select MIDI Channel proceedure from the Manual... before it would produce Audio again from a MIDI Note ON command!? Wai...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas
Hey Amos... Thanks for the new Firmware update! Still have some issues though: - My Preset's Names are still all messed up when I do a "Capture bank" in the Editor? I would like to delete all the Presets I made and saved... to start over... but there's no way to delete them? - When I turn ...

Hi Amos... Great that you are starting on updating the Minitaur's Firmware... and hopefully... doing an update for the Rev 2 Editor as well!? :) Here's my Firmware Update suggestions: - Once a Preset is called up... either by the Front Panel method... or by MIDI Patch Change... make the Preset tweak...

Re: Folder patches are stored in? Mac OS
Hey Grinder... I was finally able to create my own "Category"... from info in another post relating to PCs. So for my Mac OS... I deduced that I "Control Click" on the Minitaur Editor App itself... then select: "Show Package Contents" > Contents > Resources > data > pre...

Re: Minitaur Rev 2
Hey Freebot... No... I haven't seen an answer to my several posts on my Minitaur Rev 2 Editor problems? It would seem that moog has abandoned that for now... while they're off making Golden Voyagers and Analog Delay modules etc this Fall! :( That page by Stuka has been very helpful though! At least ...

Re: Minitaur Editor 2.0 Tips & Hints
Hey Amos... Ok... with the help of Stuka/Randy's Editor info above... I was finally able to save more than 1 Front Panel Sound! :) However... I still have the same naming problem as before? But now I can define it better: - When I save a new Panel settings sound into the Presets column... then use t...

Re: Minitaur Rev 2
Hello again. hmmmm... still no further response from Moog on the Rev 2 Editor issue? Meanwhile... I just tried to save my own sounds for a couple of hours yet again... but still can't save more than 1 Sound?!?! Whenever I create a 2nd Front Panel sound... say with the RES cranked... and name it #2.....

Re: Minitaur Rev 2
Hey Amos... Thanks for your info above. However... I am still having trouble making the Editor work as you described!? I auditioned all the Moog Presets... but only found 2 I liked... and was able to save them into Minitaur #99 and #100. I only really want to create and save my own Presets anyway! U...

Re: Minitaur Rev 2
Hey Amos... Thanks for your reply. Great to know that MIDI Patch Change was incorporated in your REV 2 update! :) I didn't try it... because it wasn't "Officially" announced in any of Moog's Press Releases... or in your Video... or in the "MINITAUR_REV_2_AD.pdf"... or anywhere pr...

Re: Minitaur Rev 2
Hey Amos... Congrats on the new REV 2 OS update for the Minitaur! Lots of cool new features! :) So we are almost there! With up to 100 Presets now storable Onboard... what we need is to be able to call up any of them... with MIDI Patch Change! When you're in the heat of the moment... doing a Major S...
