Re: minitaur polychain
Well you don't even need a polychain system if you want to use two. Simply set the first unit to low note priority and the second one to high note priority, or try last note priority for a different result. With old digital and soft synths you usually don't have a chance but last note priority (whe...

Re: minitaur polychain
Minitaur has polychain abilities are not new on this version. I once had two units and I was able to do it without any problem I understand the Sub series don't have this ability, but the Voyager and Little/Slim Phatty do I have dreamed of having multiple Minitaurs, how did they sound poly chained ...

Re: Minitaur editor and iconnectivity
I got an email from iconnectivity that said their device should pass Sysex as well so does any one know if the editor uses anything else to communicate with the Minitaur?

Minitaur editor and iconnectivity
I am looking at midi interfaces one question, I know the iconnectivity products only pass midi does the editor work strictly with midi or are any other protocols used like sysex? If so it means the editor would not function fully if connected to the Minitaur through the iconnectivity device if it ev...

Well the firmware updater had the instruction but sadly it didn't work.
Update, Noah has sent me the sysex to load manually. Should be good to go I loaded last time with the sysex as well. Thanks Moog for the quick help!

Re: New Firmware - new features
Where can I download the instructions to do the download? No link yet - see the post I linked to - you need to e-mail Moog. They have e-mail addresses in the post I linked to. Right i did that but I don't remember how to do the update to the Minitaur, perhaps there are instructions in the download....

Re: different cv voltages and gate
Thanks for the info everyone. I have looked at the cp251 but never really understood it it is all newer to me, I will dig into it and see what I can find showing me the functions on the net. I have also looked into a connectivity midi interface, it looks very capable are any of you using one? I have...

Re: different cv voltages and gate
Thanks, I have used each individually with my mac book pro but now i have the new one with four Thunderbolt3 ports. I guess either way I will need a box of some sort. I have never used cv and wondered if it was a better way then midi. Do you loose anything using midi instead of cv? Perhaps I should ...

Re: machine gun kick
Perhaps I should rephrase this, because of the way I have the attacks ADSR set up being a mono instrument I can think of no way to get the machine gun kick effect, very rapid kick sequence, I would like to get with just one mono device. Does anyone have a trick to kind of simulate this on a mono dev...

machine gun kick
I was working on a kick sound I liked, got pretty close but have a hard time getting a rapid kick. I know it is mono and I suspect that may be the issue. Can anyone clear this up for me? I suspect I need a poly instrument if I want it to be rapid and still have some of the lingering decay. Thanks!

Re: V2 firmware - can't initialise minitaur
Tom the last post in this thread before yours was 2012. I got my minitaur and updated fine a few months ago but honestly don't know if it needed it I just did it. I would call moog service direct and ask them I you have concerns only because it is probably the quickest way to get an answer.
