Re: Minitaur 'under the hood' features and MIDI

Thanks, guys. I eventually stumbled onto this video https://vimeo.com/127200102 and read the manual a little closer. Still working out the kinks (after my first attempt, only about half the pads and sliders I assigned seem to be doing what they're supposed to), but it looks like it's going to work pretty well. Thanks! :D

Minitaur 'under the hood' features and MIDI

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find it in the manual pdf or v2.2 addendum (or skimming this forum)... Are the 'under the hood' features on the Minitaur only accessible through the Editor? Or would it be possible to control them from a hardware MIDI controller? L...

Re: Voyager Polychain question

Ahhh, I see I did phrase that incorrectly. I wasn't just thinking of using a non-Phatty synth, I meant to ask about whether that feature can be used with a non-Moog synth. But it sounds like it's just a feature for connecting Moog gear. (?)

Voyager Polychain question

Are the Phattys the only units that can be linked up to provide additional voices? OR are we able to use the MIDI Out setting in the Voyager or Little Phatty to send that MIDI signal to add another non-Phatty synth as a second voice? Sorry if this has already been covered here (and I'm not sure if I...

Question about using the Voyager with a modular system

I've been curious about getting into modular synths, but really like the Voyager's functionality. It occurred to me that a decent (and less expensive!) compromise might be -rather than investing in a full modular system- to assemble one small case with some of the crazier modules I'm looking at (Met...

Question about Calibration?

Sorry if this is a noob question, I've been having a problem with my Voyager but I'm not sure about the correct terminology to describe the problem, or if it's something I'm doing wrong... I'll tweak the Fine Tune to one note (usually the middle C or D), but everything more than a few keys higher or...

Re: Post your tracks!

Used a lot of Little Phatty and Moogerfoogers on my last release. #1: m -Abrasive sound starting at 3:54 is LP through Freqbox, tweaking the Frequency knob. -Keyboard layers at the end are LP and circuit-bent Casio SK-1. #2: m -used LP for bass throughout the track -LP layers starting at about 4:10 ...

Can Voyager Old School be used for Slim Phatty Poly chain?

I have a Voyager Electric Blue, but I'm considering downgrading to an Old School since I only ever use the 'real panel parameters'. The recent videos of the Slim Phatty poly chain are exciting, though, and looking around a bit I haven't been able to find a definite answer on this yet: Can the Voyage...
