Re: Reverb for Little Phatty

just a quick add: doepfer's bbd modules (basically analog delays and/or flangers) have a clock input - you can clock them via a midi/cv module.

Re: 12V KB gate

i got a reply immediately. :) for those of you who are interested:
12V is no problem for the phatty's cv in - on the long run though, attenuation is suggested.

12V KB gate

hey all, a short well rather tiny question from a learner. as you have seen i have been controlling the phatty's cv gate in with a MFOS step sequencer. the engineer said it puts out 12V whereas according to the manual the phatty "likes" 0-5V. so here's the question: everything with gate co...

Re: Moog Modular in Budapest

Went to Budapest a couple years ago, and then took a train up to Prague- We halved our stay in Prague to get back to Budapest! Prague was amazing, but a negative vibe, at least toward us - Budapest on the other hand was a blast! We saw a great Talking Heads-ish band one night and hung out with loca...

Re: Moog Modular in Budapest

So, I managed to get to the museum yesterday, and lots of fun it was too! I didn't have the balls to touch the Moog though, it looked a beast! Banyek, if you do get the chance to try it out for some recordings in the museum, and are okay with it, then please could you pm me here, I would love to be...

Re: sf sounds :)

guys, just to make things clear once and for all, these are actually audio samples as wavefiles, no synth patches are and will be FS in this project. :) also, i've used several other kinds of gear, the phatty was "only" one of it. also, i completely agree with what you say about the patche...

Re: New girl with a Slim Phatty!

:)
you can find anything in the manual - but what (i think) you can't is that you should tweak everything gently - in the analog world, even a small amount of tweak can result in a completely different timbre/sound/etc. the rest is patience and exploration i'd say.

a very good lecture indeed, thanks. the continuum keyboard is a brilliant instrument-keyboard - surely difficult to master it at the same time though.

Re: Moog Modular in Budapest

Hey Banyek! Good to see another Budapest Moog man! I've been here for a few years, and never knew about the Moog, although I've been past MR3 (that is the building I think, right?) many times! I'll go and check it out as soon as I can! And good to know that you may be able to use it in some recordi...

Re: Moog Modular in Budapest

I wonder if the owner was intending to make a vocoder out of that top section. I think he'd run out of space and would only get 4-8 channels tho depending on whether he added more VCAs (and env followers, filters, etc.) good question. :) since the owner was german he must have wanted to do that :D ...
