Re: Ableton Live automation problem
Hi. I just tried to reproduce this but it works fine for me. Having other very strange problems with the editor, though and still no response from Moog after emailing them a week ago...

Re: Subsequent 37 pros and cons and sonic signature
I have both. They are different but cover a lot of the same territory. If I could only keep one it would be the s37, but there are a few things to consider: The s37 has more modulation options. I don't know if it sounds quite as full as the voyager- but its easier to get a warmer, maybe slightly dir...

Re: Incorrect and Extra Names in Editor Menu
I put in a ticket but continue to investigate. One possible clue: I overwrote every patch with an INIT patch. This changed all names in the dropdown to "Init preset", and, for a second, I thought I had fixed this. However, when I renamed the first patch in the first bank to "0101"...

Re: Incorrect Names in Editor Menu
Ok It gets weirder. Here is what appears to be happening- Even if I delete the factory presets and other presets - both through the editor and through the OS - they are recreated when the editor launches. I can't rename them or anything even though I'm given the option to. These are the names- the f...

Incorrect Names in Editor Menu
Hi everyone- I'm running a fresh install of v1.1.2 of the editor over a fresh install of the 1.2 firmware, in macOS Monterey 12.6.1 on an m1. I've deleted the prefs in application support and tried everything I can think of, but- The names in the dropdown in my editor (both the AU/vst and standalone...

Re: Sub 37 Editor and macOS Big Sur compatibility issues
Just bumping this and reporting more of the same. I'm on a 2019 MBP running 11.2.1. While interacting with s37 plug in(Ableton host) seems to affect the s37 in real time - there is such a significant lag with the UI that its not really usable. Also the graphics representing the knobs have a weird so...

Re: msb / lsb nrpn not working
Heh. I googled "Moog NRPN external sequencer" and found this thread. Then I read the thread. Then I realized that I was the one who started it. My studio setup changed quite a bit over the past few years, but I recently changed it back to its state circa 2012, and encountered this old prob...

Re: stand for voyager and sub 37
Thanks everyone, but no one seems to be able to tell me how deep any of these are, and thats what I really need to know. The on stage stands model isnt really my thing because they have plastered their logo everywhere. Im intrigued by the K and M, but am trying to determine if the space to accommoda...

stand for voyager and sub 37
Hi everyone, I know there are a few threads re: keyboard stands, but I haven't come across one regarding this particular combination. I have a sub 37 coming in the next few weeks and want a 2 tier stand so that I can rack it above or below my voyager. I still want to be able to keep the voyager's pa...

Re: msb / lsb nrpn not working
Just wanted to bump the thread and ask a more specific question - Does anyone send msb lsb data to their voyager successfully? I've searched a variety of other fora, and the only instance I could find was one in which someone claimed they were giving up and just sending the same cc as whatever the m...

msb / lsb nrpn not working
I've been trying to sequence nrpn parameters from my sequencer with no luck. Regular ccs work fine, but no nprn. Following the sequencer's manual exactly. Just to double check, I disconnected the sequencer and sent a sequence from Ableton instead. Again, with Ableton no nprn stuff works but reg ccs ...

swapping cabinets
Hi everyone - I have a performer edition voyager, with the standard ash cabinet. I've always been interested in the electric blue/black cabinet, but I got my voyager used for a nice price and it seems silly to sell just to buy another for cosmetic reasons. However, I noticed that I can buy a replace...

Voyager won't accept multiple ep-2s?
If I plug a **second** ep2 into any of the control inputs on my voyager, it does nothing. It doesn't matter which control input it is, each one will work fine if it is the *first one to have an ep2 connected. Furthermore, if I send a cv from another (i.e. non ep2) source like an lfo from a cp251 int...

Re: cp-251/vx-351 rackmount kit: power
Hi everyone. I'm glad I came across this thread, as I think am experiencing this ground loop problem. Since I have racked my vx with my cp I hear a high pitch hum, not unlike something you'd hear from a cheap tv. I noticed last week and ordered a new db25 cable thinking that the cable I bought off e...
