Re: Amos: LP/Slim Firmware Suggestions
... reading this thread to see if there's anything else I can do... Not sure if this will fit in the code but .... Could we please have a software toggle to keep the gate open? Ideally something that could be saved at the patch level? It's fantastic that the Slim has patch memory, allowing live pla...

Re: Amos: LP/Slim Firmware Suggestions
Think I found a bug.. When I connect a midi din cable from MIDI OUT(merging the input) on my Slim Phatty-1, it sends the button messages: sync, octave, mod source and mod destination to my Slim Phatty-2  without the SP1 set to send any CCs. All other controlls doesnt send anything, only the b...

Re: Customized
I agree, very natural looking, if not industrial. But you gotta replace the rocker switch caps with black covers and maybe replace all of the LEDs with infrared that you can only see with special glasses : ) I think youre on to something here...! I actually play industrial music, so thats 10 point ...

Foogers and velcro tape. Good?
Has anyone here attached their foogers with velcrotape to a pedal board?
Do they fall of easily when raised vertically or upside down for long periods of time? (during flight, car travel, etc..)
Any tricks or other preferred methods of making them stick?

Re: Slim phatty PASS-THRU mode problem
So just by plugging a midi cable into the THRU socket creates this problem? Does everything go back to normal when you pull it out??

Re: Your must have Foogers
I also have two phatties.., and most of the foogers. After playing around for years trying to find my perfect dual slim/fooger combo, I realised that I like my phatties best raw. I ended up using the 102 and 104z for vocal, and the 107 on my blofeld. (live setup) 102 and 104z is definitely my favori...

Re: Signal chain in live situations
No offense I just think you're overthinking it. In a live situation there are so many more significant variables than the sonic impact of a mic preamp that are far out of your control I would not worry about it as long as you are sending a decent mix to the sound guy. I dont worry, Im just curious ...

Re: Signal chain in live situations
Live they are a waste of time and money. Recording is a different story. Thats what I was thinking, but if anyone in this forum prefer to use preamps live, Id like to hear your side of the story. "Little Mackie mixer" = low quality sound. Large Mackie mixers will give much better sound wi...
