Re: Would the MP-201 be overkill for me?
Just an update :) I still don't have either, but I'm rocking the Ring Mod & Phaser now, as well as the delay :) Really couldn't be happier... Well  I suppose I'd like an envelope so I can control the rates on any pedal I wish on the strength of my input signal, but, as far as I know, neithe...

SP + Guitar /w Midi pickup?
Hey folks, Please pardon me if this has been asked before. I checked over the last few pages and couldn't find anything so I decided to ask for you to share your wisdom here  I'm not very informed on all these fancy inputs n outputs yet, but I'm getting there. If using a midi pickup (For exampl...

Re: Diffeence between Big Briar MF-104 and Moog Music MF-104
The main difference is delay time. The 104 was a limited run of 1000 units and has a maximum delay time of 800ms. The 104SD was a limited run of 250 units and has a maximum delay time of 1400ms. The MF104z is at the end of its production life, and has a maximum delay time of 1000ms. I'd estimate the...

Re: Would the MP-201 be overkill for me?
Thanks guys :) I think I'll be buying the CP-251 rather than the MP-201. Chances are I'll end up with both eventually but I'll have 3 Foogers in a few weeks time and the CP-251 looks to be what I was looking for, plus I can learn alot :D Certainly a good low-tech approach; suits the purist. The MP-...

Re: Would the MP-201 be overkill for me?
The MP201 will be perfect for you... unless you want a software editor. I've been campaigning for this since I bought my MP-201 over a year and a half ago... but as yet, NOTHING!!! I can begin to understand this... it doesn't make any sense!!! I'm not really fussed about software editing n the like...

Re: Would the MP-201 be overkill for me?
Thanks for the indepth reply EMwhite, appreciate it :) I'm rolling with a Pedaltrain Pro at the moment, and I've recently aqcuired a Junior. I was thinking I could make a more... Conventional board with the Junior, freeing up space for more Moogs :D I am most certainly a tweaker, and thats one of th...

Would the MP-201 be overkill for me?
Hello I'm unsure wether or not I should be investing in a MP-201 would be money well spent or not. Not because I have any doubts about the absolute awesomeness of the unit, or the doors it opens to musicians all over the world. But because of my pedals & instrument. I play guitar through a rathe...

Re: Ring Modulator and WMD Geiger counter explorations
I really enjoyed that Just the kinda daft thing I could mess around with for hours! I liked how rhythymic it got. You could probably put that through a looper and improvise over it some how. Would enjoy that with a delay
Very cool mate, cheers!

Are there plans to discontinue other Moogerfoogers?
Hello everyone, I was quite shocked to see the MF104z was stopping production. Even though I knew the BBD chips were dying down, I thought the builders (Moog, Diamond, EHX) were overselling the situation a little bit. It's a shame that they're goin out of production, I'm just glad I grabbed a 104 wh...

Re: attaching a MP-201 to a pedalboard?
Glad to see it attatches to a Pedaltrain :) I'd go for industrial strength velcro, or perhaps even dual lock... It'll be impossible to move, but it'll be safe! I actually have a Pedaltrain Jr on the way to accompany my Pro, and I like the idea of using a MP-201 on it. Would it fit? I've searched all...

Re: Foogers live
Hey mate, that sounds pretty cool! :) Do you guys have any plans to record something together? I'm sure you must have plenty of ideas flying around. Must be honest though, drums sounded a bit too harsh for my ears, but thats just personal taste. What other units are you running with the foogers? I c...
