Problem solved, under MIDI settings menu - MIDI Merge - USB IN:DIN out.

I'm using the Genome midi sequencer on the iPad. Connected to the Slim Phatty via the camera connection kit (USB). Channel 1's sequence is triggering the Phatty - no problems triggering is fine. Genome is sending a midi drum sequence on channel 10, the midi (DIN) of the phatty is connected to an SPD...

I do this with an SPD-20 and it's great fun.

you can alter the note lengths to trigger allow some notes to have a better sustain as if holding down a key on a keyboard. Have some notes with a short note off and others longer to alternate the percussive sounds.

The $99 dollar charge is just if the moog engineers do the firmware update for you.

It is easy to do yourself and the files and instructions are available on the site for you to download, is really easy and the free option.

I don't mind that it costs money, I mean - it'd be nice if it were free but I'd be willing to pay.

What bothers me thought is that the Library Editor doesn't seem to work 100% (on win 7x64, don't know about mac), and from what I have read the support is terrible.

Can touch OSC be used without a laptop?

I read something saying that you can bypass a laptop using the Apple camera convertor kit and MIDI touch - then USB the IPAD directly into the Phatty.

Can anyone confirm this?

It happened once or twice on build .663, but I though it was just a fluke, but when testing it on .665 it happened another couple of times. if you notice the arp skipping notes, take a moment to let me know what the arp settings are (order, pattern, mode, octaves), whether it was latched or not, if ...

I'm also getting a problem of notes dropping out on the ARP.

Happens very rarely, but the ARP will be going and then just miss a note.

I don't have a problem with the second oscillator, but my overall tuning doesn't stabilise until at least over an hour. I have to keep a tuner plugged into the headphone out on stage so I can adjust the fine tuning between songs.

Well, the Phatties are a beast of a synth - and 666 is the beast's number after all.
