Re: Custom Moog Guitar Amp
According to the owners manual of the sub phatty the ins and outs on the back side are on line level. Which is just standard. A guitar output signal is just 10 to 60 percent of a line level, afaik. So a guitar amp should amplify more than the factors of line level. Perhaps this is the point the warn...

Does anybody know whether the firmware assembler sources exist and if so who has them?

Re: Multimoog Ground Loop Tuning Issue
Yes, that is true. But perhaps the ground RAIL is polluted. This can happen if you have a poor or highly impedanced ground connection in conjunction with a Moog synthesizer. The S-TRIGGER of Moog Synths can cause this for instance, as the the shortening of an envelope gate connector (S-TRIG) to grou...

Re: MOOG 1120
<LowPriorityComment> I wonder if any brand offers modulation devices (pedals, modwheels) with selectable characteristics. If there is just a linear pot mounted, the characteristic is for linear functional control (or you have an expressive control over your foot  ), where logarithm...

Re: MOOG 1120
I'm looking almost a year for a MOOG 1120 controller in good condition. Does somebody have one for sale ? Is this a collector's question? If not: If there is no need for the original, the pedal is more or less just a 100k linear pot. See https://synthfool.com/docs/Moog/moog_accessories_owners.pdf h...

Re: Model-D Wild Tuning Issue
... Here's a video showing what's going on. https://youtu.be/XTsa4pFbNl4 If both oscillators are affected I assume a CV problem. Probably the keyboard voltage source (opamp) or a contact issue of the keyboard ground connection. I would start checking the keyboard voltage source first for fluctuatio...

Re: NAMM 2024: Will Moog have any new announcements during the show?
... What’s “FFB”? I know it as abbreviation for Fixed Filter Bank. A formant filter. Moog sold two versions of it for their modulars, the 907 and 914. Inductor based. "Voltage Controlled" and "Fixed" are a contradiction though. You would replace the FFB with a set of VCFs in ban...

Re: Problem with the interval of each key
Which instrument? Sounds that you have a scaling issue. Provided that there is no (hardware) defect: Analogue synths usually offer a scaling adjustment trim pot onboard. For digital synths there might be an offset parameter issue.

Re: NAMM 2024: Will Moog have any new announcements during the show?
Some thougths: Yes, it is a nice synth with a cool technical approach. But is this the best approach for true poliphony? Yes, 144 VCOs are cool, but this costs. You obtain voices which are not phase coupled of course, and a standard organ architecture like the polymoog might suffer from phase coupli...

Re: Memorymoog DBM MIDI kit
What about the Z80 Assembler source? As you know the Memorymoog is driven by a Z80 microcomputer system. The people who developed the upgrades had to develop the software functions for them as well. So there must be at least the disassembled listings or better rewritten software and therefore source...

Re: Moog Prodigy MK2 clicks problem
https://i.ibb.co/vH6cMkZ/IMG-8633.jpg I would check the audio signal path on board starting at the VCA. It is OTA based (U18 <= CA3080). The input of the OTA (pin 2 and 3 of U18) should show a correct waveform coming from the VCF. If not the VCO signal has to be backtraced to the oscillator core. T...
