Re: 105 MIDI sync

It should work, you just need to make sure the MPC 500 is set up to transmit MIDI clock to the MIDI out port, and make sure the MPC is transmitting on the same MIDI chanell that the MF-105 is receiving on. You'll need to check the manuals for both devices to get the full run down on how to set thing...

Re: Murf Vst

It might be worth asking Moog if they plan to update the Murf editor in the future.
I only say this as they've just recently updated the Phatty editor, which is now both VST and AU

Re: Murf Vst

If your host doesn't support VST you'll need a Wrapper like the FXPansion VST/AU wrapper, either that or change hosts!

Re: Murf Vst

I'm running the VST under Cubase 6 on Windows. I don't see access to the pattern editor (and some other bits) either. It looks to me like the plug in is possibly a SynthEdit (or similar) based device, hence a bit rough round the edges. It looks like it could be fun automating parameters with it thou...

Re: End of the line for Mf-104Z????

The UK distributor has been telling all retailers for a fair while now that the 104's were getting near the end, due to the BBD chips inside.

Re: 104z 'Multihead'

I may well be wrong, but I'm sure it was said that the removal of some chips was due to the need to improve signal to noise levels. More chips = more noise ? I don't know. I'm sure the need to keep the product line going for longer by putting fewer chips in might also have contributed to the thought...

I've also wondered what the MF-106 would/will be.
