Re: CV gate sync help plz
BUMP. It occurs to me that the gate out on the revo appears to be 12 volts, compared to the moog 5 volt, guessing i'll need to attenuate that somehow to get it to work correctly? anyone got any suggestion about how I might achieve achieve that cheaply? (without spending a few hundred on the cp 251?)...

Hey guys, having a bit of trouble getting my Retro Future Revolution sequencer to sync with the LP (gate out on the Revo to the KB gate on the LP) just seems to hold the note, rather than trigger in sync.. I can get close to what Im after by pluggin the gate out into the volume cv in, but it'd be pr...

Re: SP CV-in experiments
THAT IS AWESOME. could you just use a microphone with a y-cable and talk through the pitch and filter Yes although you might need a mixer to amplify the microphone to good Control Voltage levels; microphones usually put out only a small signal on their own. ...like a vocoder? No it won't be...

Re: Artist/song recommendations!
It does too! sounds like maybe it's played through an overdrive pedal or a tube amp maybe?
Continuing on with my soundtrack theme - the Logan's Run sountrack by Jerry Goldsmith has some sound crazy sounds on it..particularly the track - 'Flamout'

Re: BOSS RE-20 Space Echo with Voyager
digging up an old thread.. It appears the RE-20 has a expression pedal (CV) input, anyone have any experience with controlling this with an lfo from a moogerfooger or anything like that? Have been doing a huge amount of reading up on products, essentially im trying to find a delay pedal with control...

Re: What do you do?
Day job = Graphic Designer at one of the busiest music venues in Australia Music wise, started off playing guitar/vox in a noise punk band 5(?) years ago.. Then I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which certainly made playing strenuous guitar riffs difficult ..fairly devastating as a 23yo too...

Artist/song recommendations!
Thought it'd be cool to put up a topic for peeps to recommend artists/albums/songs/podcasts etc etc involving the use of Moog equipment and other analog or innovative synths.. Today I got both the Terminator soundtracks by Brad Fiedel and they are incredible, particularly love the Tunnel Chase in th...

Pigtronix Mothership..anyone tried one with synth?
sounds pretty sweet with guitar,
since I dont have the Phatty with CV outs, I would be pretty keen on a ring mod effect that frequency tracks..

both these demos were recorded with an LP handling bass duties,

Re: All the SP LIVE PERFORMERS !! issues-solutions
4. I use Pot Map feature to assign common contollers. For example, I assign Cutoff to Modulation knob, don't need to switch between cutoff and resonance in panel's Filter section. Never thought of that, cheers! I've never had a problem with lag with the auto-tune..maybe i just havent noticed it yet...

CV out modification kit
Pretty keen on sorting out my LP with the CV out mod, however, Im in Melbourne Australia, not keen on sending it to the side of the world - so much $$$$ on shipping and weeks without it (heartbreak!) Any chance of putting a kit together? Plenty of very capable synth repair/engineer type people over ...

Re: me exploring my phatty in depth... part 1- external audi
I plugged an iPad running the Korg electribe emulator into the external in, I programmed a kind of atmospheric robotic sounding arrangement on it, mostly at higher frequencies so that when you open up the filter for a bit of emphasis on a note the weird robot noises come in over the top..nice and su...
