Minitaur as an effects processor!
So, I was talking to amos @ moog, and found out some interesting stuff. I've always wanted a moog vca with midi, and I think this might be a good substitute.
The new moog minitaur has cc control over all parameters on the front, which means:
1) Midi-synced tremolo - you can draw your own ...

Minitaur as a midi-controlled adsr/trem?
I know it might be lame to do this, but I was wondering if you could use the minitaur as a midi-controlled adsr? I assume you could also do this with the gate function, and get a tremolo out of it?

MF-106M
So...as others have noticed, there is a 106m on the box of the flux. Cute hint, moog.
Any clue what it might be?
Didn't someone find the patent for the 108 last time? Can said person do that for the 106?

Re: MP-201 Discontinued
I hope there is something to replace this.
It really bothers me though. I bought it, and support for it has been minimal at best. Now, they are straight up discontinuing it.
What the hell? I can buy a cheap interface and run expert sleeper's silent way, which provides a decent gui, and A TON of ...

MP-201 Discontinued
So.....what do I do with this thing now?
I know v3 is coming eventually, but what kind of product support will there be in the future? Is there a new controller coming out to replace this?

MP201: Each button only outputs one midi channel/cc, right?
Is there any way to make it that ch1 outputs more than just one midi channel/cc/pc/lfo?
I would like to have channel one send midi clock to a few instruments, but it seems like a waste to put it in quad mode and use up all four channels just to send midi.
Is there a workaround?

Re: Moog Murf VST and Ableton
Okay, so messing with ableton and the murf, I realized I could use midi notes to trigger the filters.
Here's what's weird:
There are two different values for each filter. One value makes the filter staccato, really sharp attack/short decay. The other value makes the same filter correspond to the ...

Moog Murf VST and Ableton
I was hoping to use the VST to automate parameters in ableton, but I have absolutely no idea how to go about doing this.
I'm really confused about how to send cc through ableton, since I don't think it's possible.

Re: MURF VST EDITOR! WOO WOO
Ummm, unless I'm totally missing this, they didn't include the pattern editor or playlist
I think I can create the patterns in the standalone, then open them in the vst, but it would have been nice to have the patterns/playlist controllable via midi.
