after opening up my tribute i was pleased to see a daughter board that the filter is located on...i suppose this makes for good upgrades in the future!

After all this talk of upgrading the little 8-SOIC Atmel Serial EEPROM in the LPTE i finally grew the balls to crack open my Tribute Edition (I tend to have trouble when I take things apart to not be able to put them back together correctly...or lose a screw). Yeah, the freqbox and the mothership are very different beasts that fulfill different needs......

....personally I think the mothership sounds way more awesome then any demos I have heard of the freqbox....but maybe i'm just biased :wink:
