this is actually a really interesting topic. since working in the pedal business a few years it is really remarkable what future pedals actually get thrown out the window because they produce too much noise. If consumers were less picky i bet we would have some pretty sweet stuff on the market ...

but wouldn't that require a dual ganged pot for the cutoff so both filters in series change at the same rate?

after opening up my tribute i was pleased to see a daughter board that the filter is located on...i suppose this makes for good upgrades in the future!

I have to say, I think it is sort of funny how guitarists really get a chubby in their pants when they find a pedal or guitar that makes their notes sustain for a really long time.....i mean whatever gets you off.....
but honestly are people really impressed when you are playing a show and just just ...

After all this talk of upgrading the little 8-SOIC Atmel Serial EEPROM in the LPTE i finally grew the balls to crack open my Tribute Edition (I tend to have trouble when I take things apart to not be able to put them back together correctly...or lose a screw).

Yeah, the freqbox and the mothership are very different beasts that fulfill different needs......

....personally I think the mothership sounds way more awesome then any demos I have heard of the freqbox....but maybe i'm just biased
