I think the Firebox is bit overkill for my small bedroom studio. Though, it is looking interested.
I think the Firebox Mobile or Focusrite Saffire 6 would be more suitable for my needs, as I'm only interested in connecting the LP2 and perhaps another synth in the future - maybe a mic also.

Re: Optimal connection between LP and DAW?
Thank you so much for your reply. There is a small gain knob on my soundcard (EMU 0202), but it only does so much. It quickly begins to flash red when I gain the signal and begins sounding distorted. Perhaps the solution is purchasing another soundcard with a sort of amplifier integrated? Here's a p...

Optimal connection between LP and DAW?
Hi guys, I'm loving my newly purchased LP2, however, I'm wondering what the optimal form of connection is? I have my LP2 connected to a EMU 0202 USB-soundcard via the line-in and using Ableton 8.1.4. But the audio is not as loud when routed through Ableton as when I have my headphones connected dire...

Re: Distortion & Reverb sugggestion for LP ?
This is a bit off-topic but I was just wondering what the benefits of a pedal delay-unit is?
Is it that it is analog and that it could be considered sacrilege using a digital delay-unit from within your DAW on the sound of the Little Phatty?

Re: Little Phatty on Ableton through Edirol interface
Great! Thanks a bunch.
I found the MIDI-automation in the envelope-section of the MIDI-clip.
I also learned that the external instrument isn't needed, as the Little Phatty can be chosen in the drop-down menu in the MIDI-clip as the receiver.

Re: Automating Little Phatty in Ableton
I found the answer in the envelope section of the MIDI-track where the automation is recorded.

Automating Little Phatty in Ableton
Hi guys, I've just recieved my first hardware synthesizer - the Little Phatty Stage II. And so far I'm very pleased with the sound. I have connected it to my PC running Windows Vista 32bit with the USB cable. The audio is hooked into a E-MU 0202 USB. I would love to be able to automate the Little Ph...

Re: Little Phatty on Ableton through Edirol interface
I also have trouble with sending MIDI data to the Little Phatty. I would really love to be able to automate the filter, decay or similar in Ableton and then send it to the Little Phatty and record a new audio track. Are any of you guys able to do this? I've activated remote and sync in Ableton prefe...
