i have an problem with my lp when i try to use it with any daw it seems!!
i am running m powered pro tools 8.04 with a m audio firewire 1814 sound card on a new imac with os10.6.4
i have tried different leads of all combinations power midi etc so i know my hardware is fine
i have tried this set up ...

MIDI problems
My lp works fine until I connect to my mac via MIDI .
I have a m audio firewire 1814 and I'm running pro tools m powered8.03
When I try to use the lp in this set up it goes crazy and holds notes and generally does mad stuff !
I have also tried to up grade the os to2.1 from2.0 but I can't do that ...
