7 fooger pedal board w/patch bay

I’ve been reading through these forums for some time now. There have been some great ideas for racking the foogers together. I'm working on building something that is a little more portable. I’ve got 7 foogers and the CP251. I am going to run everything through a 1/4" patch bay to cut down on p...

Re: Midi problems with Voyager RME

When routing things this way, the live playing of they synth works fine. In order for the keyboard to transmit midi data from the computer to the voyager, the keyboard settings need to be changed. Once changed the midi playback is significantly better. No more ghost notes or ptich bending or anythin...

Midi problems with Voyager RME

I've had some midi issues interfacing with DAWs with my RME voyager. I don't think that the voyager is a problem, but perhaps someone here has encountered the same issue. I am controlling my RME voyager with a pcr 500 rolland edirol keyboard. Everything works fine when going directly from the keyboa...

Re: 2 MF-101 Low Pass Filters for MF "modular" = illogical o

Frostwave's resonator pedal is a filter pedal that has cv controls for HP & LP freq and resonance. Having a few different kind of filters can help add a more complex texture to your sound. Some of my patches come out of the voyager post filter, through a fuzz or freqbox, then through a 101, then...

Have you tried adjusting the LFO amount?

Re: MP-201 controlling non-Moog pedals via expression in?

You can use something like the C251 to offset the signal so it fits in the range of whatever pedal your using. I've gotten it to work nicely with the WMD geiger counter. I think most CVs are 0-5 or -+2.5 and -+5 volts. The offset on the C251 is enough to at least move around into part of the range o...

VCFs

Anyone know the difference between sallen-key and a state variable VCFs? Perhaps an example of a synth that uses each?

Re: MF-101 Lowpass Filter

I typically use the low pass fooger last in my pedal chain. This helps tame efx from bit crushers and fuzz pedals. You could use the pre-filter input on the voyager for efx, allowing the filter of the voyager to do this for you. It all depends on the sound your looking for. The voyager's filter is a...

Voyager RME live rig

I've had my RME voyager for some time now. Recently I have been getting more live gigs and would love to bring it out. I was wondering what kind of rack cases/stands other people use with their RME. Conceptually, I was thinking about throwing it in a small rack case with a power supply, and putting ...

Re: racking the fooger collection

instead of using different resistors for each connection (that requires one) could I use a trim pot?

Re: racking the fooger collection

yeah, 2nd that on the template. I've started to build something very similar. I've tested all my pedals, I just want to make sure I put the right resistors in. I'm going to try and build the patch bay from scratch, which may make adding these things a little less complicated.

Re: Dave Smith Tempest

it looks like it cant sample. . .which means your stuck with whatever drums they put on there, or use it as a midi sequencer (but i think there is only 1 midi out) This thing could be a MONSTER, but its not quite there yet. They claim that more features will be added with software updates. . .well see
